    Waratahs 2012

Did anyone notice the article over the weekend about a third half back for the Tahs next year - nephew of John Hart. Does anyone know anything about him.

    Waratahs 2012

I also think that is a strong starting line up - but bench is not great. When Tahs get a few injuries I am afraid that they are going to be mediocre (AGAIN)

    Wallabies vs Barbarians

agree with most comments about Phipps. I am not overly a fan but thought he did pass well and took the ball to the line a couple of times before slipping the pass - resulting in at least 2 tries. Very Genia like!

    Wallabies vs Barbarians

While aust did ok, can anyone explain to me why Genia waits for an eternity at the break down before he passes the ball. Sure it lets us get back in position but does the same for the opposition. It annoy the sh*t out of me.

    IRB Sevens 2012

I am not sure Aust is picking the best available 7s team - seems focused on developing young'uns. I reckon I could pick a better performing team from Sydneyt grade rugby. Not sure too many of the Aust team will ever play regular first grade rugby.

    Wallabies vs Barbarians

Not really a great surprise Benny A's scrummaging since coming back from injury has been poor. Maafu may be not better but we wont know till we have a look

    Shute Shield 2012

The split is based on club championship points. Top six clubs (based on club championship) play each other and bottom 6 play each other. Everyone in top six make the semis so they are just playing for positions in the final 5 games. The top two teams in the bottom six also make the semis -...

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

Struggling with Australias love affair with slipper. He is good around the field but his scrummaging - on either side - is poor. We will not win a world cup if we keep promoting crap scrummaging props. Alexanders scrummaging is also poor.

    Scrum Talk

Looks like an interesting read. Bottom line for Australia is that (whatever the rules) we tend to struggle in the scrum which I put down to the lack of attention it is paid through junior and senior development process. U19 rules mean that in GPS and schoolboys selections teams can get away...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Sharpie Hard done by. Should be in starting lineup IMO. I would have put JOC (James O'Connor) back to full back and brought in Turner on wing. ALternative is Ashley Cooper to fulback and bring Horne in at outside centre. Having two non attacking centres is a concern. Fainga has consistently shown he has no...

    Waratahs 2012

Im a bit apprehensive about front row in this squad - seems a bit light on, particularly props. If Ben Robbo gets injured, we will get shunted all over the park

    Sydney Colts 2011

Uni? Even so - point system is toothless. Perhaps available points should be reduced dramatically to actually have some effects.

    Sydney Colts 2011

Manly vs woods was a pretty good game. All woods in first half apart from one good backline move try to Manly - 24-7 at half time. Eastwood ran with the big wind in the 2nd half and just like all teams on the day struggled to take advantange of it. Manly lifted their game and dominated the...

    Sydney Colts 2011

It will be news to Andrew Cox that he is not going to be there next year.

    Sydney Colts 2011

Randwick 24- Easts 22. Dour struggle. Easts missed a conversion in front at end to equalise. Dont think Randwick will seriously challenge Sydney Uni.

    Sydney Colts 2011

Have also heard complaints about the level of coaching in Wests colts 1. Some disgruntled players - may be some movements in the off season!
  17. Rob

    Sydney Colts 2011

Score was actually 62-3. Wests blown off park in every respect except the scrum where they probably were marginally better.

    Sydney Colts 2011

Slash, I think u need to get over the private school thing. Donlan is a class halfback - voted by New Zealand Schools rugby last year as the best Australian player in the Aust schools. I dont think they cared what school he went to. His form this year has been a bit ordinary but my understanding...

    Sydney Colts 2011

Yes. Team went to Penrith - also some spectators. But on the bright side the grade teams were also playing at Penrith so not a totally wasted trip.

    Sydney Colts 2011

Penrith 3rd grade colts forfeited to Eastwood. Only 10 Penrith players turned up to a home game for them. Sad indictment of state of play in club rugby.
