Big improvement from him, at 6' 6" he is behind the 2m+ brigade. At 113kgs he is also a bit light which I find amazing. He's about the same size and weight as Mostert.

I thought that tackle was Jorgenson late in the game.

    Wallabies 2024

I assume we must beat Wales to hold this spot and then IF we beat Scotland it might be interesting but suspect we will stay at 8th but Scotland will swap with England. Not sure what impact a loss by England to SA will do as they are above them. Just found a spreadsheet where you can do...

I read a fair bit about this kind of thing in Robbie Deans article a few months ago and his view is that the Japanese club scene is not a sinicure anymore and the speed and strength of the game has improved dramatically over the last 5-10 years.

Just read on RP that we are now 8th and England are down to 7th their lowest ranking for a long time. https://www.rugbypass.com/news/updated-world-rankings-springboks-return-to-top/

As I was proven wrong about Schmidt not including Skelton and Kerevi it is a bit much to assume that neither of them is good enough for the Wallabies now. We have 3 more games to play and Scotland appears to have put a big scare into SA. We are going to need the whole squad and it's a pity that...

Frost out and Skelton to start with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) on bench. Williams and Wilson OK with McRight as fast lift.

Agee with all of this apart from the JAS to wing bit. The impact he had in traffic and getting go forward ball from offloads etc could never be replicated by any 13 we have currently Agree Smith was best on the paddock but the assists that a 21 year old who some say was too young and...

Will be very interesting DC suspect he will try to keep the same starters. Had a look at pommie comments on daily mail and 90% of them seemed to think AUS coming back is a good thing. Surprised as I expected some whinging over the result but all of that was aimed at SB.

Did anyone put any money on AUS to win?

I thought this was a massive improvement over the RC games but still a long way to go. I was mostly concerned about the breakdown which was average to poor, particularly the Eng counter rucks but at least it offered some quicker ball at times which our backs made the most of.

Even if we had gone down I cannot imagine anyone whinging about that game, it had everything.

Not sure he was found out so much as outthought by his opponent. Didn't see a close up but I am guessing they took the hit held then took off power to collapse him. Smart play if they did and it takes a prop/lock combo to make that happen.

Yeah! I am hoping they can build and not thinking they are world beaters (yet) then follow it up with a poor game. We have been up and down like the proverbial for years let's look to several good games in this trip.

I think his injury issues are not behind him and he is overweight. Would still have him starting every time.

Valetini was huge as was Ikitau. JS was the most impressive start in a very long time. So much for being too young!!! A fabulous win, is there any smart bastard here who knows where this will take us in world rankings? There is still work to do in the forwards, at the breakdown where we lost...

I can handle agist crap due to reality, if a few of you will stop treating 21 year olds as children.

I fully agree with this Dru. The Scotland match will be a big challenge. Depending on what happens to others I am hoping we could get to 8.
