McLoughlin will be key as BBC look to go back to back in 2020 ;=) BAG

Really no BBC at all - BBC should be in the top 2 or 3 in the betting line for sure - plenty back form last year and the best all round talent in the 17's age group. 2019 has always been BBC's title to loose - come on 'the Green, White and Black' time to start talking it up ;-)

Yea some weird selections in the team for mine - Bowyer is a great ball runner but there were a couple of better all round players. Leaving Flook out out is just head shaking stuff. Opinions and all that I guess.

Until they got rolled by NSW 2 - Carter was a pretty distant 3rd in the local 10 race to be fair.

Parata makes my team with Reesjan at 12 over Asi - I believe that 10 12 is much much stronger than either at 10 with Asi not even close - but Reesjan has had the better season at 10 in 2018 imo. other positions Front row pick itself Locks is a three way battle with the two Churchie boys...

Plenty of reasons for that and it is not all about the cattle (although that is becoming a catch cry at Tennyson this season) You can rest assured justamum is a lot closer to reality than your 'sons mates'! BAG

Just look at the entire AB program at GT seems a complete and utter shambles by far the poorest season I can remember.

10 will likely be a massive problem at GT next yea PE who is out injured and started the year there is much better suited at 15 or out wide to make use of his evasive skills but not sure there are any other options.

Due to GT's well documented immersion program they was missing over half of it U15 cohort and some of its U16. By my calculations GT was missing up to 6 or 8 of its 15A's on Saturday, which would have lead to the uncontested scrums. I must say some of the promoted boys played extremely well...

Couldn't agree more was very very hard in the midfield.

I like this team to, King has too many on reputation over performance for mine - I get the Howarth thing but Flook easily got the points in the head to head. You just can't leave Reesjan out has to be 10 or 12 no ifs or buts.

Hard to argue too much and hard to believe no BBC boys given people thought they were going to compete with NC TSS this year. I guess if there was an offensive unit Bowyer would walk (at great pace) into the 15, but he has some clear issues with his game. Maybe one of the wingers but the NC...

I agree TSS a very talented but flawed team and NC match up well,TSS will need to be very careful kicking the ball away to this team. NC should start very warm favourites IMO

I think it has as much to do with GT's light weight locks as the technique of the front row.

The real question here, for mine, is can the winner of the 'Match of the Round' at Miskin Street take the momentum and mount a serious challenge to TSS/NC I guess a red and black victory on Sat would produce a quick answer the following week at the Terrordome R&B by 7

Interesting I have been hearing the same re the stingers U!3's- TSS though were one of, if not the, bottom U12 sides last year so they must be on the improve as well - Gold Coast won the State Champs on the weekend, hmmmmm.

They seem to have been preseason favorites for as long as I can remember - maybe ACGS was preseason favorite in 2014 but TSS would have been every year since.

A few big name AIC boys in there too - selectors had a good eye for talent in 2014 apparently! BAG
