I really don't see a genuine option for a Brisbane based Reds split unless you did a north/south divide and tried to align each team with respective club sides but even then I think you'd struggle to get any major support for the team that isn't the Reds.

Fair enough if the squad is already sorted. Could have been quite a formidable Australia A team given some of the talent not being selected. I can't recall the Wallabies having such good depth for a fair while now. Exciting times!

Few selections I would have gone the other way on particularly Tate over Gordon, and whilst I like him, I'm not sold on Banks as genuine international fullback after some shockers last year. I certainly wouldn’t enjoy playing as an away team at Easts given the closeness of the fans to the field and I’ve definitely heard some on the nose comments as an Easts supporter which cross the line but I wouldn’t say Easts are particularly worse than other clubs.
