    Waratahs 2014

The same guys on Triple M said that Cooper going to League was a done deal last August. They had been informed and it was absolutely going to happen. Didn't. Take what they say with a grain of salt, not saying it's not a possibility but we'd be better off waiting to hear from Beale himself.

    Waratahs vs Force - Super Rugby R7 2013 - Sunday 31st March

Why? This can only hurt the Force.

    Play Super, Play Local

See this doesn't make sense. If they wanted to help the Waratahs over the years wouldn't certain clubs have tried to encourage players from Sydney not to sign for the Brumbies? The prevailing attitudes that exist at that level need to be overcome.

    Play Super, Play Local

Not a bad idea, however, If it were to occur I'd imagine the top three Canberra clubs may want to participate in the premier division instead of the championship. I think the likes of Tuggers and Quenabeyan would be competitive in the Premier Division. That said I don't mind the general concept...

Yeah, Kingston would be priority retention target. He's just has too much potential left to be fulfilled to let go and have it come back to bite you. It's a tough position to find yourself to in but its a good one at that. Which Super Rugby quality back to forego to assist in regaining a world class player.

Very similar to the colours blue Cambridge wear. Regardless, it really doesn't matter all that does is whether or not Beale is back with the Tahs next season.

    Waratahs 2014

It's the colour blue of the Tahs jersey.

    Rebels force merge

The Force are only now beginning to witness the very first of the new generation of players to fill their roster emerge in Kyle Godwin who has been very good so far this season. Yes, they have had a few more but arguably outside of Justin Turner none have been up to the Super Rugby standard. It takes a...

    Waratahs 2014

I think Beale would be on his radar to be honest. Sure he's not going to say it in the press but he'd likely be thinking it. His priorities are more than likely retaining the talent that he thinks best suits his gameplan that he already has and would likely be waiting for Beale to come to him...

    Rebels 2013

I've never been someone to want to physically assault anyone in general and I would rather be 300 yards from any conflict that could evolve into a fight. The only time I imposed myself on others was on the field. The fact that I was effectively allowed to get away with something like that just...

    Rebels 2013

Mate, you have no idea how accurate your assessment is. I attended a school that has traditionally been a breeding ground for RL talent in Sydney's South West. I was for a time part of that system and knew many blokes who were and these guys were given everything and had plenty overlooked in a...

    Waratahs 2014

Absolutely agree. That is why I'm advocating a move back up to Sydney. Cheika is installing a strong sense of self-accountability among the Tahs playing group. It was most evident in Drew Mitchell standing up and taking it on the chins for his axing and realising that more was needed from his...

    2013 S15 Australian Conference

Yeah, if any team were to be disbanded for the good of the game then it would be the Rebels at the moment. I don't know. I think the overall style and competitiveness of the Aus conference in general is significantly higher this year. There's more endeavour present. I think the Force could knock...

    Waratahs 2014

That's why I mentioned making it conditional. It would have to be made abundantly clear that he would be expected to work his arse off just like everyone else to earn his spot. If he doesn't like it then may be he should elsewhere. Would be good for him and other players. Competition breeds...

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

Many have critised his lack of jumping but he was reasonably good in the air with his take off the back of the lineout leading to the first try of the match. Though, I need to be a bit of a pedant here. In the lineout steal that lead to the Blues first try, it was actually Douglas who performed...

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

There was that as well. He has a far straighter pass then McKibbon who has a looping action to it.

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

I both agree and disagree at the same time. His first few involvements were dire in defence to the point I was chastising him in front of the TV. But later in the game he put a good low hit on the Blues No.8 that dislodged the ball at a point when the Blues could have built something so his...

    Waratahs 2014

Given it's made clear that he's expected to clean up his act, train as hard as everyone else and play for the team. Then, yes. I actually think someone like Chieka would be good for Beale. No nonsense and authoritative. Something I honestly don't think he's ever had. Could and it's a big could...

It wasn't "G'day mate, you've got my good side" that's for certain.

Did you see what he muttered when he saw the camera on him. Bloody beautiful. You cannot repeat it on here but it was great to see. Just watched the Tahs presser. Every time I hear Chieka speaks in public the more confident I get that he will in time succeed in his quest to turn the Tahs into a...
