Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Overall not a bad list of objectives. What I found encouraging was the recognition of the sports entertainment industry and the various option available to fans. Could bode well.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if he just came out a spelled out his position clearly and in a forthright manner? None of the usual double talk BS.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Sorry, just read the eastward bit. Thought you were referring to the progression of GPS old boys.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

You've still got Scots, High, Grammar and TAS at a stretch.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Likewise. Perhaps some sort of IPTV platform could be investigated now with his background.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

    It has begun.:)

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Well, hopefully now it is confirmed we can see whether he has the necessary qualities. I like you, hope that he does as the game is in desperate need of leadership.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

True. But we're talking about the current board that just hasn't seemed to deliver too much in way of either vision or direction apart from finally sorting out the governance issue which we do have to give them a big tick on that one.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

If he were to be announced and states his intentions toward this, then I would definitely hear him out.

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

So you just want an accountant. While a business background is of course required what Rugby needs is someone who offers a skill set that can not only ensure the books are balanced but provide some direction and leadership for the game more so than just a business. While Rugby is a business it...

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Chances are if you looked up many potential candidates regardless of state or nation of origin you'd likely find 'leather patch' like backgrounds. Those types of schools with their histories and connections that come with them tend to breed these sought of individuals. I have no issue with that...

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Doesn't he also have experience in the US or something? Thought he was a banker of sorts. Would have preferred someone with more sports admin experience within Australia of the likes of the former 3IC of the AFL (his name eludes me at this time).

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

I'm sorry but how so? How many Randwick players that are currently with the Tahs? If you're referring to coaching staff, perhaps he has a playing style in mind and is looking to those familiar with it. Not being defensive or condescending, just genuinely interested in the club biases that are...

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Both bankers are they not? Not too sure we should be going down that track again.

    Waratahs 2013

Pedant.:) But, yeah. It's one of those baffling uses of language where it just seems as easy to spell it as intended.

Grand Prix Entertainment sell NY franchise for $10 million

Well, actually with the IRB officially recognising the American Samoan Rugby Football Union (in September I think) as a full member Union, USARugby can no longer just take players from those islands without them satisfying residency requirements first.

Grand Prix Entertainment sell NY franchise for $10 million

The theory regarding Samoa is that many of their squad will be drafted in to supplement the four US based squads for the event. In terms of team selection, the other theory is that they are chosen in a strategic manner to draw on locally based support from expats and 1st generation Americans...

    Waratahs 2013

I think we have to take into account the blind parochialism that seems to be a prerequisite to being a Brumbies fans in regards to Slim's comments. If they were selectors we'd be better suited to just foregoing the whole Wallaby thing and just allowing the Brumbies to represent us.
