I'm not against guys playing for their Super Rugby affiliated NRC squad and again I tend to think NSW has one too many squads but I think some overlook that a good deal of the talent...

Umm...look at many of the Super Rugby players who will be filling say the Risings roster and you'll notice that quite a number are from NSW. That was more the point I was making.

While I subscribe to the thinking that NSW may be over sunscribed by a team. I think it should be noted that if all the NSW developed talent that's padding out a number of the other squads had returned there wouldn't be a competitiveness issue.

while the JGC is about opportunity as much as competition I think a more competitive U17s will do a lot more for their development than keeping all the current centres going. If we ever a u19s/20s age group they should take it further to effectively mimic the NRC. A pyramid with a wider base...
