I agree. The game wasn't lacking on the physicality front. The defence was much improved. I actually think that these variations should be rolled out at club level as a means of preparing for the NRC. Surely couldn't hurt.

There's room for improvement in terms of ball in play while keeping the physicality. It's more about limiting the ability to time waste.
