    Potential game of the round

If the Chiefs win, there is no doubt they will rest they're key players in the next round vs the Canes. Making it even harder for the Reds. It doesnt look good from a Reds point of view.

JOC (James O'Connor)'s best position for the Wallabies.

At the moment he is a walk-in spot for wing. Mitchell has some work to do to become a contender again, when he regains his form its going to be a tough decision but at this point in time JOC (James O'Connor) is definitly a walk-in (especially with his recent wallaby performances - he has outplayed his opposite...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Well that all depends on who is defending the 10 channel. If it were Beale then we dont lose much at all. The main issue is it just over-complicates things (Eg shifting the entire backline, then we lose Beale's counter-attackering from fullback etc). I think over the past few seasons, especially...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Good point. Although JOC (James O'Connor) will no doubt be on the wing, in the roaming role, as well as Beale coming up to the line from fullback which would offer a lot of support to Cooper in his "off games'. But you are probably still right, JOC (James O'Connor)/Barnes is much more of a solid option in that regard. Put my...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

I support that combo. If Barnes is at 10, then i think its necessay for JOC (James O'Connor) to be at 12 to add that spark and distribution in the back-line. However Coopers long pass and distribution skills always keeps me coming back to him and I don't support a combo of Cooper/JOC (James O'Connor), with JOC (James O'Connor) being a...

2012 Super Rugby - crowds & TV viewer numbers

I agree. If Rugby were on FTA it would signifcantly increase the interest in Rugby. Personally I dont have foxtel, 3 years ago there was brief stint of 6 months where my brother bought it and I watched my first season of Super rugby in forever. Then my brother moved out, meaning no more foxtel...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

I must admit I have been impressed by the defense of our current centre pairing. Horne has defended well even though he started the super xv quite messy in defense. Our current back-line is looking defensively solid, the problem lies in attack. Barnes while showing good form, is still very...

Completely agree Bowside with ur leadership members post.

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

I have to disagree. I think McCabe is now a better running then AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is very one dimensional, he has one move which he try's every time. The right hand fend. I noticed he once had 2 free players outside him but chose to tuck it up and run himself. I dont believe McCabe would make that same...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

He deserved to start but I dont think Deans would have started him. Which is why I don't like Deans.

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Lealifano's distribution was very good this year. He would be my first choice flyhalf, on form, if he hadnt got injured. Of coarse his distribution is not as good as Quades, but it isnt far behind. His decision making is a lot better. You've got to feel bad for Lealifano, he's going to have a...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

As far as im concerned, Flyhalf, a Centre spot, and a Wing spot is still in heavy contention. So basically Barnes, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Horne still need some work to do to hold there spots. (sounds harsh on them but JOC (James O'Connor), Cooper, Tapaui just offer way more, especially in attack.)

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

This is where Super XV form really needs to come into contention. As we know Dean's does not give super xv form players the recognition they deserve, this is supported by many of his recent selections. There is still a few super games left, some will be very crucial especially to the Reds and...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Horne would have made it to the line easy if he hadn't tripped... yes he somehow tripped on nothing.

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

My thoughts exactly. Both teams nicely balanced on attack and defence. Both with X-Factor players spread out over the backline.

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

After JOC (James O'Connor)'s RWC form he should be a walk-in to the starting XV. Not sure which position but he's got to be in there.

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our forwards!

I also haven't. But many in these forums love him. If i wasnt a green and gold forum member I would have no idea who he is. (this is probably cos im an ex-fullback and don't really notice the locks anyway)

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our forwards!

I honestly cant see any major changes, maybe one or two players coming into the current squad, most likely locks. A change I would like to see happen is with the Bench. Alexander has proven to be massive weakness come scrum time. With Kepu able to play both sides Id put in Palmer or Slipper...

    Rugby Championship 2012: Our Backline

Maybe you could get Yoda and ur other star wars friends to teach Cooper how to tackle. He will forever try to hit high and rip the ball out (I saw him do this many times just before the june tests). Why on earth link or dingo hasn't taught him how to tackle front on yet is getting ridiculous.

Didnt the junior All Blacks just lose the final to South Africa today?
