    Springboks Squad named

"I took the decicision based on form." - Meyer Maybe Deans needs to take note to how other coaches select there squad.

    Brumbies 2013

It does mean a significant drop in game time for Fainga'a. I do however see White playing him occasionally at 6 with Pocockat 7, as well as when Poey needs rest. A back-row of Mowen/Poey/Fotu or Vaea does sound Test-quality in my eyes.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Yeh I rated Karimicheal Hunt highly. He had a Cooper-like step but was also a hard tackler and powerful runner. Good origin player. He would be awesome in Rugby

Wallabies vs Wales - Suncorp Stadium June 9

Horne has most missed tackles? And the wales backline is all over 100KG? Did not know this. Get Fainga into the back-line now!

Wallabies vs Wales - Suncorp Stadium June 9

On form Fainga does deserve a spot over Horne. But when u look at it we are playing our 5 choice flyhalf? We need all the attacking threats we can get. Fainga doesnt offer this. He a defensive king, zero attack. Horne at least offers a little threat on attack. With any other Flyhalf Id have Fainga.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

I hear Folou is a bit of a flop in ARL. The other league convert.. Hodgeson maybe? QLD player? He's going much better in AFL. Actually i think he had a short stint in Rugby overseas too. He'd be a good recruit too. Anyone know his name again?

Wallabies vs Wales - Suncorp Stadium June 9

I hate the Tahs.. Boy boy do I love there front row. Im guessing Kepu and Robinson will start the Wales Tests and Id be happy for them to do so However Moore is in better form over TPN so id be giving him first preference depending on how he pulls up. Palmer would be pretty good too. Would be...

    Brumbies 2013

I agree. Good post by RedsHappy. I never thought about it like that. Still hope for the Force.

Any other options? When is JOC (James O'Connor) back... surely his liver would have recovered by now!

Wallabies vs Wales - Suncorp Stadium June 9

Surely Moore would back-up. He's in great form. TPN to come on half way. Id consider experimenting with the locks after the poor comments on the scotland game. Pyle a chance maybe? McCabe deserves to be there. So no Beale, Cooper or Lealifano at flyhalf? Is Barnes our only option? Our...

Time to Complain to the ARU

How much prep time did the Scot's have compared to us?

    Brumbies 2013

I don't think so at all. With the way the Brumbies are playing at the moment they could well win it. They just need a player like Pocock who is capable creating moments that turn matches eg a turnover at a key moment, a try saving tackle. Brumbies are "nearly there" just need a little more...

    Wallabies vs Scotland - 5 June 2012

I missed the game. But I thinking Barnes' combination with Genia is a massive influence on the poor performance. Usually Cooper would be screaming at Genia to give him the ball. I knew we would lose with Barnes at 10. Who else is to blame? Judging from the comments just about everyone played...

    Brumbies 2013

Rumours are starting to spreed quickly about the Pocock News. Reported both at superxv.com and SMH.

    Brumbies 2013

Yes he is much better then Hooper. Pocock is one of the worlds best. Hooper is only one of super rugbys best. And I hope everyone is right about the Force, but I dont see them being competitive in the next few years.

    Brumbies 2013

Wow. If pocock does come Id almost expect the Brumbies to win it next year. Bad news for the Force, all hope will be gone for them.

    Wallabies vs Scotland - 5 June 2012

You make a good point. Escpecially in the tri-nations. However in the case of a Test Vs Scotland I would have to argue a hardworker would have more of an impact. Maybe not against a SA or NZ pack, but against Scotland McCalman, Mowen, Brown should all have a good impact. We have our imcumbents...

Actually Phipps over White is more frustrating. White has had an amazing season. Phipps has had 1 good game?

    Wallabies vs Scotland - 5 June 2012

I have to agree that the selection of Timani is shit house. A few years ago i was a big supporter in picking the biggest and strongest players but after this season of super 15 I have come to realise this is not always the best decision. Simply look at the teams which have excelled this year...

Rebels vs Brumbies Super Rugby Rnd 15 2012

Fotu and Fainga are going to hammer the Rebs! Tomane to score a hatrick. Nic White to outplay Phipps in every aspect of the game.
