    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

Yep - if they reported on Saturday, then that's just viewers before 2am. So only live viewers. Having said that, the way the maths works, i think that's about 1 of the sampler boxes watching in the entire country.

I reckon Skelton might even get a few weeks off for that one.

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

If they ever went down that route, and there is some level of influence attached, I would hope they would have a semi regular release of shares too, so that it's not just those in a position to buy now that get the influence.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Highlander's touched on it, but we make more money selling our rights to the NH than they do from ours, so sharing or reciperacle rights would be a pretty big net loss to the ARU What might be an option is more night games which would be way more attractive to Aussie broadcasters given the...

    C'mon Scrubber. Name and shame!

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Cheiks might be just limiting Phipps' game time as much as possible to reduce the chance of him doing something catastrophic. ;)

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

Here's your problem Dave. Papworth has such a polarising position these days that everything he is attached to will be viewed through that lens. No matter what the idea is, if Paworth's name is attached to it, it will be treated with suspicion and cynicism by a very large portion of the rugby...

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

better being a pretty loaded term there QH..... The board approved a strategic plan in April. If it is not fit for purpose already, less than 6 months later, then it's the board that needs to be reviewed, not the plan.

NFJ fairly conspicuous by his absence too..... just bringing it back HJ ;)

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

I wonder how the ARU board, filled with independent directors, who presumably approved the strategic plan, feel about the CEO agreeing to have it reviewed? I would not have thought that was Pulver's decision to make

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

Would the state owned stadium concession holders even be allowed to offer drink deals if the teams paid for it? RSA etc?.

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

The usual excuse is that the stadium contracts don't allow promotions like these. Wonder how true that is?

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

I had a chat with someone last night who has dished out some of these grants in an unrelated but similar field at sate and federal level. This sort of thing (directors giving loans, money being used for purpose it's not intended for) is absolutely rife, especially amongst the smaller community...

    Reds 2017

Dean's dad sits on the board of Buildcorp, they are basically funding the development of the game so it is at least somewhat relevant. Might also explain why Dean keeps getting picked ;)

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

Having no salary would make it pretty hard to repay any sort of short term loan though wouldnt it :-p

Maybe it was even William's salary funded for the rest of the year?
