3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

No he didn't unfortunately. I was just making the point that in addition to the 9 odd players in the semis, your best and fairest for the season was not home grown either. But I think we should be discussing this in another thread.

What's all this about the breakdown in 7's? The breakdown is a much dumb downed version of the 15 man game. Once you understand the patterns your team plays, being there is not a problem. Does anything think he is going to be blasted off the ball? How many if our forwards in 7's are quick enough...

I included Eddie,as he played his first year in colts with Parra. Kotoni actually played 2years at Rat Park, and played grade predominantly in his second year with them before moving. Even if you exclude these two, there still only leaves 6 locals....but anyway moving along...

Forget about the breakdown, someone has to put him on his arse before there will be a breakdown. How many in Gold can accomplish that? Having 3 kids hanging onto him just brings his offload into play. As TWAS points out, there are plenty of Oz players that would not be as effective as SBW in this...

Prop Fairbrother Hooker Leafa or Eddie A Lock Gower Flanker Sigg 8 Jones Half Lucas 5/8 Milroy Centre Brian Sef Winger Woodhouse K Ale played most of the season at 7 I have assumed none of these were juniors.

Not really,if you look at the starting side of the semi this year. 3 piggies & 3 backs are juniors(including Neville who never played Colts)

I think RUPA have agreed that the Super players won't be paid any additional amounts to play T3. That will reduce costs substantially.

That may be so,but anyone still doubting the guy is a slow learner. He continues to silence his critics in a range of sports,on an annual basis.

    Shute Shield 2014

I think you are working on out dated information BB. In version 2.1 Uncle Bill was promoting a licence fee, essentially to run the comp without any ARU subsidy. Now we are at version 2.4 or 2.5,whereby Foxtel have come to the party with an unexpected $1M payment for TV rights. My understanding is...

What about KB (Kurtley Beale) at 12 Horne at 13 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 14 IF at 15? Of the above only KB (Kurtley Beale) is an unknown in his position.pretty much the entire backline can crashball,so KB (Kurtley Beale) needn't do that.

Hope your not one of their accountants. There were 6 clubs mentioned, and you predict that 7 of them will lose money!

ARU Junior Gold Cup - National Junior Championships

You are wrong IMO. Go through the 20's team list at Manly in the last four years. Many, many more failures than successes. If you look at squad numbers ( not run on numbers),as there is no distinction in effort between stars and fringe players,it is a very low conversion rate. Star Schoolboys...

The NSWRU spent a shitload on building grandstands out there. Lots of red ink,for all the financiers!

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

I keep making resolutions that I will never read his tripe again. Then people include a link in their post, and bugger I have done it again. I really, really, really mean it this time. Never again!

Well done.Sucked me in! Sometimes it's hard to detect tone when reading things. I had typed a furious response, before it dawned on me you were taking the piss.

Why is a Randwick/UNSW any more credible than a Gordon/Lindfield JV?

    Shute Shield 2014

Really? What are player expenses,as listed in the Annual Report? I just saw a report from a few years ago. Total player operation costs $300 k,which includes strapping, uniforms, travel etc and $124k in player expenses.

Then I hope the ARU play the "what have you done for me lately" card. If Randwick stand alone,Uni must also be given the same opportunity. I would have thought both Manly and Southern districts and probably Norths are all in a stronger position than Randwick, will the ARU grant them stand alone...
