I wish we had the same selection problem for 6 that we have at 3. Actually - having said that I am very happy with a backrow of Timu, Hooper & Pocock everywhere except the lineout. Maybe a 5 man lineout with the locks and Timu as targets and Hooper & Thor as running options.

Big Call starting Tui. I know the guy is a big body, and a jumper but he is still a rookie, has no match Fitness and no experience playing at 6. Very much setting him up to fail IMO.

13 is the hardest position to defend. You wouldn’t move Beale there. The more likely scenario if any is that Hodge gets picked on the wing and defends at 13 with Beale dropping back.

He was good. And the rest is a moot point anyway. Whether what I heard was right, not right or somewhere in the middle, Higgers is clearly not in the plans.

As I understand it, that is the point of conjecture. The KPIs he was given before the game and the KPIs he was given feedback on after the game differed by some margin.
