    Cheerio Deans

He did similar at the Tahs as well, the only time they've made the GF he was at he helm. What I like most about him is that he has varying game plans dependant on the opposition, this hasnt been as noticeable with White. I have them neck and neck at the moment, lets see how they fair through...

GAGR MOTM - Wallabies vs BIL Test 3

Moore / Mowen Smith Mog Sitting in row 60000000 up in the bleaches, I take a new perspective of the channels Smith shuts down off the ball. Look at the try the Lions score as soon as he went off for proof.

    For Sale: One Test 10

Agree, but he has some traites of excellent 13 - and gee his support players out wider will have room they don't have one pass off the ruck.

    For Sale: One Test 10

Interesting this, may have been managed differently by the Rebs - I will play it out; This week White in announced new coach of the Wobs, and Link becomes new coach of the Rebels. I think Link could be good for JOC (James O'Connor), take QC (Quade Cooper) for example he's improved under Links tutalidge. However if Link gets...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Far more detailed assessment of the team and coach prior to me. 1. Game went bad off the kick off with Genia's knockon. 2. The Lions dominated in the go foward, and we had no variation to the game plan (coach or players fault??? = coach) 3. At the break our possession was up but behind on the...

    Shute Shield 2013

Should start having clubs submit teams lists to GAGR, and up list in the appropriate thread, or 3rd tier up the top of this page.

    MANLY 2013

Wamberal - talk it up, Woodies have been ruthless this year. Hola is a picture of what he has been over the last couple of years - he's a 5/8 of the Lloyd Walker mould or cast.

    MANLY 2013

So do we!!! All clubs will strengthen when the Super players return, not sure how Blakey will play our 4 - 8. Luke Jones, Cadyen Neville, Ed Gower, Dylan Sig, Kotoni Ale, Jordy Ried, (& maybe Michael Hooper, and Wycliffe Palu??). Couple of Hookers & Props also returning from the Soup...

Cheers coach, thanks for the correction in 3s, & 4's (mis read a Woods twitter tread) - they are equally as important to the club culture. I think we can match them in the forwards, I think our backs are very comparable - however they have had stability throughout the season / seasons.

    MANLY 2013

Big weekend for rugby this weekend and the club rugby forums have remained very quite; 3 Marlins pulling on the gold jersey, what clubs have greater representation, and what a way for G Smith to go out! Travelling to take on the Woods this weekend and they are entrenched at the top of...

    Wallaby Fan Buildup

"WE ARE GOLD, WE ARE GOLD" needs to ring out. Screw their "sweet chariots"' and their other nursery rhymes.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Agree with the bench concerns, working with the listed 23. Beale 10 JOC (James O'Connor) 13 Mog 15

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Could have been Smith 6 Hooper 7 Palu 8 For an all Marlins back row, but Mowen has been playing great rugby. I do feel sorry for Gill, he's had a very good year.

    MANLY 2013

Chatter on he Lions thread about the Wallaby back row, who to go with? Why not an entire Marlin back row 6 Smith 7 Hooper 8 Palu Would be great seeing them all pulling on the Blue Jersey later this year, could Smith's Brumbies contract finish after the Soup, and would Suntory / Eddie be good to...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Not enough game time this year at 10 and combinations, what about QC (Quade Cooper) (Gen combo) or To'omua (Lilo combo) at 10, and Lilo keeps 12 JOC (James O'Connor) 13 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the bench or wing, tuff call but either works for me as we'd have a specialist 10

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Agree, I think JOC (James O'Connor) at 13 for this reason. QC (Quade Cooper)'s vision, and passing skills could create havoc out wider with these skills. Then with Izy, or the fullback in support we could attack a lot wider.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Bah GOB SMACKED creativity in attack, we haven't shown that for the last 2 years. You maybe right about first time combos, per selection most of the forum was talking about the importance of combos. Alas Deans has had an impact on both accounts. A positive was our defence, missed tackles low...

And off a set piece with the loosie there and waiting. May have worked different out differently a little wider
