If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

This. I don't see any issues with Red cards as they are so rare anyway.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Stop the clock for penalty kicks.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

His support lines are superb. But then again you need players breaking the line otherwise he has no-one too support. It's an ironic trade off, probably have more players breaking the line with Cooper then Foley but then Foley would feed off them better with his support play.

Cheetahs v Waratahs, round 17, Sunday 7 June

Dean Mumm playing this game? Curious to see what standard of rugby he is at given his high accolades in the NH.

Western Force v ACT Brumbies - Rnd 17 Friday 5 June

Yep, I have a bad feeling about this game. Force actually look good on paper. Cottrell, McCalman, Hodgson is as good a backrow as any. Wykes and Coleman experienced locks. Holmes is a good flyhalf - he filled in well when he was with the Brumbies Cummins, Godwin, Haylett-Petty, Morahan - are...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

I don't see Foley managing his back-line was well as Cooper. He doesn't seem to be doing as much talking on the field. Seems to me like Foley feeds off the individual running games of Folau, Beale rather then the other way around. Hopefully I am wrong.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Except when SA pick half their squad with overseas based players and they still perform at Test level.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Game management is one under-rated stat from Cooper. Did you see Adam Thompsons comments where he praised the young 10's who did a good job but asserted that Cooper's coming back gave the team so much more direction, Cooper consistently talks to his forwards and backs and get's them into the...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Why will he "surely be picked"?, Lilo and Gits would surely be fighting it out for one spot as they both essentially cover the same 10,12. But Lilo is becoming a dominate defender and runs straighter then Gits - two traits better suited to Cheika-ball. It's a tough call IMO, and will depend on...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Nice one Brumbieman, But what about Horne? What's it say to the squad to leave out the most in form player this year? I have never been a big fan of Horne on the wing but his form this year warrants selection.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

I agree. I certainly wouldn't be putting him in the RWC squad before starting him first this Rugby Championship.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Well it wasn't just one try. It was the entire game. What really impressed me was his defence and his strength into contact. 2 traits which I hold very high at Test level. He was reading the defence well - putting on big hits, and he was running very strongly - often bumping off opposition...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Yeah I'm actually really liking Horne as cover for: 11, 14 - the in form winger 12 - played heaps of games here - plus his running would be similar to To'omua's, we lose a kicker and a playmaker but our running game would still be the same - If Cooper is 10 then playmaking won't be a problem...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Like @TOCC mentioned. A swap would be permanent. If their is only a niggling injury to Phipps which would only keep him out of a game or two then you certainly wouldn't want to permanently swap him. Not having 2 half-backs in the starting 23 is a huge risk. If Gits actually had to play we would...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Really? Cheika would be crazy not to take 3 halfbacks. To consider Gits a halfback when he has only played around 2 games his entire career is also a bit nuts.

Yes and his Grand Final performance which was pretty damn good.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

    1. Sio - Slipper needs a rest 2. Moore 3. Kepu 4. Simmons 5. Skelton 6. Fardy 7. Pocock/Hooper - rotate both throughout the Championship, Pocock's history against the Boks means he gets first start. 8. McCalman - the in form 8 deserves first crack, needs to perform well or Palu/Higgers gets a...

Agree on Cooper. Fitness and game-time his biggest issue. Did they do a Hooper V Pocock one too?

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

But Cooper has played better games at international level. He has set the benchmark. We know he is capable of reaching that benchmark again because he's done it before. Foley and Lilo haven't come close to this benchmark yet. I think its far less risky to assume Cooper is able to perform at...
