Absolutely agree. Simmons line-out work is greatly overstated. Yes it is importatant at Test level BUT Fardy, Dennis, Higgers are easily capable of filling in those shoes if Simmons is not selected. It's the whole package that should matter the most, currently because of last years...

Yeah I thought Hooper was a lot shorter. You would think the Brumbies/Waratah stats would be the most accurate given they can update them each year - or whenever they please. Who knows though, I would love to see them standing side by side properly.

That's photo trickery! The Tahs list Hooper as 182cm and 101kg, the Brumbies have Pocock 187cm and 115kg. THAT'S 14KG HEAVIER!. And of coarse that's 14kg of pure muscle because Pocock is a beast :)

Let's say 4 jumpers Vs 4 jumpers in the line-out you win 90% of the time. But 3 v 4 in the line-out you will win only 70%. Thats still 3 out of 4 line-outs in 20minutes.... But in 80 minutes it's 7 out of 10. Losing 3 line-outs is pretty bad but only potentially losing 1 is manageable. Basically...

Chances both will start are very very slim. However I think there is actually a pretty good chance one will come off the bench and replace our 6 or 8 leaving both on the field.

The strategy of putting your winger in the scrum and your flanker in the defensive line is something that could happen. The Brumbies do it often. I'm not sure how having both Pocock and Hooper on the field will benefit from this strategy.
