Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Pick the best side? or rest players? Some players are easily rotatable. Higgers / McCalman / Fardy Pocock and Hooper Slipper and Sio Holmes and Kepu AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Kuridrani The halves combo should remain fairly unchanged, along with To'omua and Simmons would probably cause the most disruption.

    Stormers v Brumbies Qualifier

Lilo will definitely need his kicking boots for this one. Can't afford any costly misses this time round.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

None of us will like it but I'd also bet money Alexander will be in the extended squad.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

No time for sentimental spots we want the best on the field.

Fair enough on TPN. Moore will undoubtedly get the nod anyway and rightly so. Although I think Sio is a good set-piece prop. The Brumbies scrum is significantly weaker when he isn't playing.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Would our best scrummaging front row be Sio, a fit TPN, Holmes?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I noticed this too. Certainly not an 80 minute player any more. Seems to start games well but dies off at the end.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I agree on Horwill, he hasn't been as bad as I first thought. I now think he would be a better option on the bench in front of Jones/Dennis. Mainly for his set-piece work, especially the scrum. If we had Sio, Holmes, TPN, and Horwill coming onto the game in the last 20minutes - that will...

Brumbies v Crusaders Rd 18 Sat 13 June

How much better are day games in Canberra!!!! Also, Mogg was absolutely horrible this game. Should have moved Coleman to fullback when To'omua came on.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Do other conference systems play teams from other conferences during the general season?

    Stormers v Brumbies Qualifier

Been really disappointed with the Brumbies attack this year - which is a worry coming from the Wallabies attack coach. I agree the driving maul seems to be the only weapon. Where are the fluent back-line plays? inside balls? Ball-runners hitting lines at speed, etc. Say what you want about...

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Not exactly a law change, but I think the Super XV table should be re-structured once finals begin, by points descending. The exact teams qualify but it rewards the teams with a better season with home finals. So it would be: Hurricanes 66 - home semi Highlanders 53 - home semi Waratahs 52...

Disappointed with Godwin but he only has himself to blame.

When you break it down Foley is an average 10. I would rate To'omua, Lilo, Cooper having greater skill-sets then Foley. But its impossible to compare given Foley is the only 10 who's had quality game-time the last 2 years.

Yes I disagree. I thought he was fairly average.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Obviously Hooper won't be great in the backs but he'd still be better then any other forward if things go pear shaped.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

It can work in the last 20 minutes of the game: 4. Simmons - plays 80 5. Horwill - replaces Skelton 6. Hooper - replaces Fardy 7. Pocock 8. Higgers - replaces Palu/McCalman Still 3 quality jumpers.

Also doesn't mean he shouldn't be part of the squad. I liked the recent article where Phil Waugh stated the value of having an experienced player like Smith around, and the positive affect is has on the rest of the squad. At least bring him in to train with the squad for the Rugby...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Agreed, Folau is definitely the biggest drawcard in Aus rugby. Maybe Cooper the next.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

45 is basically everyone. Easier to name who's gunna miss out then who's in it.
