    The Boks A team

Exactly. The game plan he was asked to play under Jake White was not at all to his strenghts but he adjusted admirably. Unfortunately for him all that people think about is his "tackle" "technique" but he brought that on himself.

    2012 S15 SA Teams Movements

Jeez I saw the Bulls Sharks game from last weekend. If that's the best the Bulls have to offer they are in BIG shit.

    Brumbies 2012

A valid concern. Danie is an excellent jumper at 2 or at the back of the lineout. Less so at 5. I'd day they'd be okay though.

    Brumbies 2012

I heard this a few days ago and now I see it's reported on Keo.co.za. Jake White wants Danie Rossouw for the Brumbies. http://www.keo.co.za/2011/07/26/boks-latest-gold-confident-of-turnaround/ Reckon it will be one hell of a signing. Just the player the Brums need in the pack. And he's...

    The Boks A team

According to latest reports at least ten of those guys will not be fit for the first 3N home games with three more in doubt.

The Stormers played Burger and F Louw who is a specialist openside to great effect. PdV has indicated that he will play Brussow and Burger together. He has to get both on the park together.

    The Boks A team

Butch James is back in SA. Played six games in Super rugby for the Lions. The scrummie is Hougaard. He is a good bench and might even start on the wing if Habana doesn't wake up.

    The Boks A team

PS BJ Botha may well start as it is widely known that Smit rates him a lot. They scrum very well together. Because Botha is much shorter he gets right under Smit's arm and end up putting huge pressure through the middle. It has worked well against taller looseheads in England and Ireland of late.

What does that even mean? We will probably play the Irish in the last 16 right? 50/50 game. Unless of course Wales or Samoa beat us. In that case we will play Australia?

    The Boks A team

Likely bench assuming starters I listed in my post above: 16. Bismarck 17. Gurthro S 18. Spies 19. One of Bakkies / Rossouw 20. Lambie (covers 10, 12, 15) 21. Pienaar (covers 9, 10, 15) 22. de Jongh (covers 12,13 and wing) I'd take Hougaard or Pienaar. Pienaar's kicking game is better. In a...

    The Boks A team

    1. Smit will start. Fuckity fuck. 2. Rossouw will possibly lift Botha out of starting team unless the latter plays well 3. Butch to get the two tests at home in the 3N and will probably cement his position 4. If Juan Smit is fit we may see him or Burger start at 8 for a Brussow / Burger / Smith...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Bloody rabble. Honestly, you can't have people getting excited at ANZ. It's just not on. :)

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

I guess there are always more than one way to make a point! James is still prone to high shots. He got binned in a Super 15 game. He used his arms which is progress! James on form makes very good decisions and very few errors. He played some scorchers for Bath and I would suggest he is a...

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Go to betfair and lay it yourself. If there's not market yet I am sure they will put it up if yo ask them. They are quite good with that sort of thing. We have to play Aus or Ireland in the last 16 right? Hope it's the Oirish.

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Towards the end of the season the Setanta comms were talking him up as the best halfback in the comp so I wouldn't write him off after one average game behind a shit pack. In fact, he could well play himself into the starting 15 if FdP doesn't find form. Kockott was all the goods two years ago...

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Question: Did you guys watch Butch play for Bath over the last three years? I saw quite a few of the Bath games and was pleasantly surprised. But the test will come in the home leg of the 3N and we'll see then. HE certainly has some deficiencies in his game but the reports are that his kicking...

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Steyn - Yep. His days are numbered. Had a poor season other than goal kicking. He is on this tour to prove himself and it is not going well with Lambie breathing down his neck and noises in the Bok camp that James will get the two home tests. Butch James will start in the RWC. Take that as a...

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Smit has lost any bit of dynamism he ever had. He is late to the breakdown because cardiovascularly he struggles. He barely ever carries because he is almost never in position onm attack or defense. I watched some of the training last week and I was shocked how fat and slow he looks. He's...
