    So where to from here?

I wonder if Dingo even knows who to call on? It's not like he was watching the ARC. How come Turner's name is not being mentioned? Injured, or the forgotten man? He wasn't that bad.

    ARU relax foreign player laws

Caveman, come on down. I think this is sensible. It will pull the odd punter in for marquee players, and if there is a developing player better than a local, then they could only improve the overall standard of our players. So, who knows some Argentine tight-heads that haven't played for the...

    Currie Cup 2012

Re: CC Rugby Look at it this way: in 605 more posts, Virgil will be a Wallaby, too.

    Currie Cup 2012

Re: CC Rugby I reckon a few of us are interested, if you don't mind talking to yourself most of the time. Ah, what's the difference? It's all green and yellow anyway.

Playing rugby this year? POST HERE!

Christ on a bike, it's raining hard. Does this "Sefton" have anywhere undercover? Fucked if I'm going to stand in the rain for 3 hours like a loyal girlfriend. Ideally, you start in 2nds, score a try in the first minute, then go off injured so I can go to the pub.

Last call. It's just me and Lindommer at this stage. Will the Oakhill kicking game play into 'gades hands? How will the rain affect our big forwards? Can't wait. See you there.

    Bokke v Wallabies version III

What is it about coaching test rugby sides that turns people into dribbling idiots? Comical Eddie, Steady Eddie, SCW, Jake White, Matt Williams, Snor, they're all half-cut.

    So where to from here?

Well, Pocock for Waugh gradually. Both Smith and Waugh spanked his baby arse when they played. I think Crofty might have done him as well.

    Bokke v Wallabies version III

Naah, that was too funny. I normally won't tolerate personal abuse, but when it's from two masters you have to just sit back and enjoy. As far as the argument goes, Waugh was completely and utterly hopeless. Moore was merely bad. Getting so stuck into Nau because of his throwing, then blaming...

Headless Chickens / Disgrace to Australia

If this is the PANIC thread then I've nothing to say. We are still very close to winning our first TriNations in a few years, and should be playing for the Bledisloe except the ARU needed the money and put up the silverware as bait. So, things are fairly OK. However, I do think that the first...

    Queensland Reds 2009

??? Are the Wallabies playing out of season? It's winter, mate. I'm not trying to bash the Reds, I wish they were winning. But getting beaten by very ordinary sides who are just looking to get some match fitness for a few players in the pre-season is a worry.

    Bokke v Wallabies version III

Some highlights: "The All Blacks looked unstoppable, until they met Australia ..." "The All Blacks looked unstoppable, until they met South Africa ..." "The All Blacks looked unstoppable, until they met France ..." "The All Blacks looked unstoppable, until they met Australia, again ..." "The...

    Bokke v Wallabies version III

Well, that's what makes it an interesting DVD. Blokes talking about getting hammered week in week out. They slowly built themselves up to the point where - at the end of the 70s - they were world class again.

    Bokke v Wallabies version III

There's some good stuff from an Aussie perspective in both "Rugby in the 70s" and "Rugby in the 80s" DVDs.

OK, time to start getting serious about this. Me and Lindo are in - we'll come down the mountain and attempt to locate this "Sefton" on the GPS. Who else is in? And Nicko, what are your chances of playing 1sts or 2nds? What time to arrive at the ground? C'mon Scarfies. Anyone who was going to...

    Eddie Jones - 20-20 Cricket

EJ (Eddie Jones) is all over the place. Bashing the ELVs. Bashing Snor. He's an odd fellow. I assume that part of all this is to promote his mate Meyer (sp?) back into the Springbok job.

    Eddie Jones - 20-20 Cricket

I enjoyed playing 10s on the few occasions I had the chance. 7s is not interesting at all, unless they halve the size of the field.

    The Cordingly contribution

I would also say that's it's the halfback's job to not take 3 steps before passing. But Greegs managed to contribute positively to the Wallabies for most of his career. What LB offers (his list of good points) far outweighs his bad one, even if it is a very important one. It's like playing a...
