    NSW club rugby thread

My first ever game of rugby was for Chatswood U9s. So, I think that makes me a Highlanders supporter. I've just been waiting 30 years for a team that didn't suck. Go boys! Kick Woodies arse!

Playing rugby this year? POST HERE!

When I played for Blackheath we used to travel 6 hours to get to Tullamore. The rest of the time it was just 2 or so hours out to cultural hotspots like Cumnock and Molong. Took us a while longer to get back, though ...

    Consider me de-ignorated. :thumb

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2008

Good stuff. (Are you sure the application procedure doesn't include a quick game of touch?) ;)

How did Kurtley end up at Joeys, given that he grew up around Blacktown?

    The Tahs 2009

Do we like the sound of all this, or not?

Paarl Gym 150th year & Ruaan Smith

Can he play tight-head? If so, we might have to get together a Friends of Ruaan fundraiser.

Playing rugby this year? POST HERE!

Yeah, agree. It hurts to read this thread, 'cause I so want to get out there, but then I remember how much I'm injuring myself at touch footy! I'm very slightly tempted to play in jonnosan's golden oldies day, though. How bad could it hurt?

    Superbru 3 Nations Tipping

Thanks RG, I'll get myself into that one. Maybe I can get one back for the boys in yellow.

    NSW club rugby thread

Can I get this off my chest? Oh, that's right, I can do whatever I want. :thumb This is the reason I have never settled on a club to support. In chronological order: Went to Manly-Warringah School, supported Manly-Warringah RL. Went to Chatswood School, played U9, U10, U11 for Chatswood. Went...

    The Tahs 2009

Hangers ... pfft. We've got the Aus A fly-half [and ARC-winning fly-half] in our starting XV. Shift Turner to FB.

    Superbru 3 Nations Tipping

How about a few of Kiwi friends join up, too. A Saffer won the Super14 comp, maybe a Kiwi can win the TriNations. Or not. :P

Re: GPS & CAS Teams Hey Aussie, good info. Any chance of CHS? The good guys?

Can I post this here? I played paintball today. My second time. Got the usual 20 welts over my body. The only one that really bothered me is the nipple. Red, raised and sore. :crybaby

    The Referees' Room

It was good enough for all batsmen up to Tony Greig.

    The Referees' Room

Well, whoever that Welsh ref was for the NZLvENG game, he didn't do what Andre suggested. He allowed both teams, but the AllBlacks in particular, to pillar and to obstruct. He was throwing random penalties around for most of the game. He also missed the most blatant forward pass I have ever...

    Superbru 3 Nations Tipping

Come on you bums! We've only got 6 so far. If we get 12, I promise, faithfully, to supply a TYS prize pack, which will almost definitely comprise a TYS t-shirt. Some blokes on here who I won't name, like naza, talk themselves up but won't put up. Now's the time! Put it this way: anyone who...

    The Tahs 2009

Two words: Justin, and Harrison. I watch him play for Ulster. Still pretty damn good.
