    Brumbies v Chiefs. Canberra.

+ 1 this. To'omua 10, Gits 12, /hux 15 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) roving is the winner methinks. The polish will come - it is still quite early in the S15, and this win was essential.

    Hooper to start

Our problem has never been individual players. Our first XV is usually competitive. Our problem is depth. Lack of depth is why we blood younger players. You're confusing the symptom with the disease.

    Waratahs v Blues. Sydney.

Re: Tahs v Blues Bum hammy? I always thought the hammy was lower than that.
  4. Groucho

    Hooper to start

That's a bit pessimistic, rugbywhisperer. Blooding youngsters rarelyhelps you in the year it happens, but when it works it is an investment is success in subsequent years. Many of Australia's best ever players started their careers at that age: Horan, Campese, Giteau... there are way too many to...

    Wallaby 6,7,8

Pocock is the same weight as Elsom and at least as strong.

    Super 14 By Nation

    Erm, it's an average.

    Rod Davies

I'm a Brumbies fan but Davies is palpably faster than Fainofo.

    Rod Davies

What Australia needs is a pool of winger with real gas, regardless of their current shortcomings. In a season or two the quality will rise to the top. I can envisage both Davies and Morahan starting for the Wallabies, and terrorising oppositions, a la Roff and Tune. Good on Queesland for giving...

    Brumbies, what's going on?

We're very well-placed after a draw of away games.

G&GR Brumbies Player of the Match (v Blues)

Nonsense re Pocock. Already better than Smith.

    QLD Reds 2010

That lounge looks awfully familiar - Brissie QANTAS Club by any chance?

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Agreed. Sports forums are like pubs, not like debating societies. Strong opinions, whether they be right or wrong, are what makes them tick by adding heat to the conversation. Besides, if reasonableness were a requirement then some posters would never get a chance to post.

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

'm surprised by the people who are grouping S Finger with Nau. Nau is an exceptional international hooker. Finger, maybe one day.

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Re: Rebels deadline ends, update here on what you hear. I agree with Noddy. One of the weaknesses of Australian rugby has always been the queueing of emerging players behind established players at S14 level. We see players like Kingi, a Wallaby, going a full season at a crucial stage of their...

Dan Palmer to sign with Brumbies

    Good post!

    O'Driscoll - 100 caps and concussions

The best treatment for concussion is to turn the player upside down. And spear him into the Eden Park turf.

    Wallaby Squad Predictions 2010!

Yes, in two years. Not this year. The 7th or 8th choice winger.

What do you make of this?

The NZRU tried, but failed to register the jersey and silver fern as a trademark in New Zealand, so they haven't got a leg to stand on really. It is only the name ALL BLACKS that has trademark protection. Anyone can run out in AB jerseys and do as they please, legally.

    Running Rugby- Australia's Jonah Lomu

Sure, but NN is very young. Let's just sit back and watch him develop. The Lomu thing is a press confection.

    Tahs vs Stormers

Like, not in a Super 14 final? Oh wait...
