Great post Geeves. The Reds were the best Australian team for most of the year, and at times the best team in the comp. Like many I was a big critic of Link's at the Waratahs but he has really learned at lot, it seems, in France. The next Wallabies coach for sure.

Fans like to imagine that their team will be 'pissed off' after a loss, and therefore win the next game, but by far the more common result is a further loss. This is because rugby is a game of content, form and skill, more than emotion.

The Stormers could also win either one or none of their next two matches, against the Sharks and Bulls. They are not nearly as locked into second place as people are suggesitng.
