    Waratahs 2020

The only reasons I could think for that move is that possibly Enever is on the outer as he was regularly overlooked this year, and Cusack will be spending time with the Sevens team for the Olympics.........

And passages like this from the judgement summary do not read too favourably for Folau's camp.........

Nah, the author has twisted the facts of that case to suit their agenda, because.........

Petaia will need to play more than a fortnight of rugby.............. But I don’t rate Hunt.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I know we have to get through the RC first, but just looking further ahead to the RWC......... I think we’ve got the best group of locks available currently in the squad, even though Phillip would be far more deserving of a spot than Simmons, but we know that’s not going to happen this year, so...

Seems like a reasonable squad............ McCaffrey and Phillip the two unlucky ones.......... Coleman, Cooper, Phipps and Hanigan all deservingly not there......... And I assume Samu is not included because of injury.

I know this isn't going to translate into the test team, but I just wanted to mention it since we're up against the Boks first up.............. The Brumbies had a clean sweep against all of the South African teams this year, and really bullied their forward packs.

    Brumbies 2020

He's part of the wider training squad, which might allow for him more flexibility to play club rugby in Sydney......... I imagine if/when he's promoted to the full time squad he'll be playing club rugby in Canberra.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I think Beale is either at fullback or fulfilling the same sub role he had at the last RWC......... DHP and Banks both being a bit more flexible for a fullback/wing role............... I wouldn't have Maddocks there, but if he was I'd only consider him for the wing. And then of course...

Depending on the forward makeup they could wind up with 14 backs........... I think Petaia is a next year prospect like Valetini, and IMO I think Banks' boot should get him ahead of Maddocks, although Maddocks has been favoured by Cheika the last two seasons.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

JOC (James O'Connor) has mostly been playing at 12 and 13 from what I've seen......... Kuridrani is the player most deserving of the 13 jersey, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a possible Kerevi/JOC (James O'Connor) centre partnership at some stage.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Just going back to the topic of Jesse Mogg............ He had some weaknesses, both physical and mental, that were obvious at a Super Rugby level which I haven't seen with Banks as yet. Banks is a far better defender, more reliable under the high ball and certainly not as prone to some of...

    He's fairly reliable............

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

For me, Naisarani has been the complete package at no 8, and even when the rest of the Rebels fell away he maintained his impressive form throughout the year......... I don't think McCaffrey's form since his injury has been as good as it was prior, and in that time Samu has cemented his place...

    Super Rugby POTY (Aussie)

I’m still unsure if I’m satisfied with my order............ There’s a good case for AAA to take the 3 points.

    Super Rugby POTY (Aussie)

    3. Rory Arnold 2. Samu Kerevi 1. Alan Ala'alatoa

He’d have to be one of the first ones picked too......... But I assume he’s accidentally overlooked him as he has Slipper twice.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

He turned the arrows 90 degrees to face the goal line........... hopefully the opponent's goal line.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

It's also the total number of linebreaks Phipps made over the previous two seasons......... Over those same two seasons Powell did show a tendency to run more from the base, and his linebreak figures were pretty good............ so I don't think it's not necessarily an absent skillset that can...
  20. Slim 293

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

That's not actually true though, as he displayed last week for his try......... He does regularly snipe, and likes to attack the blindside, but certainly Genia and Phipps possess better running games. Powell is quick to the ruck, has a good passing and kicking game, and does like to get...
