    Waratahs v Reds Match Thread

I'm not saying it wasn't hard as a result of his run to the try line but if it was a world cup final I would want him to make the kick. The comment was made that he was more likely to kick a match winning goal but on the weekend it was Quade who actually did it. Part of his kicking training...

Melbourne Rebels vs Brumbies match thread

I'd like to see Blake in the 22. I think he could provide some go forward with the ball in hand and from all reports his scrummaging has improved. Could be used off the bench. I think Kingi would work better with Cipriani as he would keep the defence guessing. I think that they need to change...

Except when he is converting his own try or taking a kick off after the opposition has just hit the lead?

    Waratahs v Reds Match Thread

I think it will be hard for the Reds this week. The Tah's looked red hot against the Rebel's last Friday night and they will benefit from the longer turn around and the game being in Sydney. For the Reds I would like to see Holmes start at LHP with Daley on the bench as I think it will give the...

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

That wasn't what I meant. I think the Force will win a few games but in games where they are up against one of the top teams, like the Bulls and Crusaders, if they keep up this form they are a good chance of "upsetting" them.

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

I was really impressed with the Force. I wasn't expecting much from them but they proved that they could cause some upsets this year. Phil Blake has done an outstanding job with the defence. Happy to say I was wrong and I just hope that they keep up this style of play for the remainder of the...

Is Larkham having an influence in selections?

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

It will be interesting to see how things develop over in the west. On the energy front I think that is quite common when a new coach takes over. Everyone sees it as a chance to impress, even if he has been part of the program for a while. I am hoping that Graham develops his own style now that...

    Reds 2011

If he had gone knowing everything would be better at Ballymore because of it then I would hold no hard feelings. But he jumped ship because he thought it was sinking. Also he made all the right noises about staying and asked for extra time to sort some things out before signing then went behind...

    Reds 2011

I would think if they have a good win on Sunday they could pick up quite a few new members the following week. Everyone loves a winner.

    2011 Rnd 1 Reds v Force

I have a few concerns with the coaching staff at the Farce. Richard Graham hasn't inspired me during his time at the Wallabies and Nick Stiles doesn't have any great success under his belt. Phil Blake seems to have done a good job at Manly but I haven't been following to closely. Also watching...

    Rebels vs. Waratahs - 2011R01

My comment was more based on Rebel's fans thinking Vuna is the second coming. Carter is very good in defence and if Vuna gets passed him he may just be a Wallaby bolter. Now that Carter has developed a step and a passing game it may be a good test for Vuna in defence too.

Doubt that they will start him ahead of Lucas.

Nowra Trials - Tahs v Force and Junior Tahs v Force A

He stepped someone for the first time in his career and also passed to someone in space. That's looks like a blinder to me when talking about Tom Carter.:fishing

    Rebels vs. Waratahs - 2011R01

Rebels no chance. Lucky to be within 20. It would be great if this wasn't the case but I think we have to be realists.

Spiro shows little love for forward play shock

The Reds had a great backline in 2009 and 2010. The difference being the forwards standing up last year and we almost make the finals.
