RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Gee it would be close! To'omua is a great defender, occasionally gets caught out going for the big hits - which Gits doesn't attempt because be can't do them. Although I suspect Gits may have the edge as I'm pretty sure Lilo is the guy at the Brumbies who drives the back-line defensive...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

So Foley called all the plays that involved him shuffling on the ball to Beale and Folau to do all the work. I am yet to see Foley put some-one into a hole with a nice inside ball or well worked pass. He lacks vision. His playmaking involves either: 1. Making a break himself then offloading 2...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Foley didn't run the backline, KB (Kurtley Beale) did all the playmaking, Foley was just there in support (a very good support player though) and to kick goals.

My point was, even if dominating those area's you can't take the ref out if it. He can easily rewards England's shaddy tactics in the scrum or be trigger happy in breakdowns. (it's happened many times in the past). Dominating those area's will go a long way, but we can't guarantee anything.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I hate to say it but the ref's performance is going to play a big role in deciding this game. 1. How will he ref the scrum? If England pack straight we should be dominate otherwise we will be punished 3 points nearly each scrum 2. The breakdown? Will Poey, Hooper & Fardy be able to do what they...

And because its England in their own Tournament, combined with the fact they have beaten us at Twickenham the last 2 encounters and beaten us 4 times out of the last 5. History shows they are favourites. So it's up to our boys to make history.

Don't even joke about an injury to Pocock

England are still favourites on all the betting websites.

I'm certainly pro-Cooper and don't rate Foley much but Cheika didn't really have much of a choice. Coopers yellows, goal-kicking, and errors were his downfall. It was his spot for the taking but he didn't put his hand up. Can't blame Cheika for that. Maybe the exclusion of Lilo was a poor...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I doubt we will play conservatively. I think the biggest risk is going to be the error rate and accuracy. To'omua already came out and said this is the biggest game many of the team has ever been in, so there is recognised pressure by in that regard. I can see passing errors and pressure errors...

I had a feeling that could happen but the poor goal-kicking from Cooper says otherwise.

Trapping Foley or Gits with high balls and a nice chase once they drop back will be a problem. They did it well verse Wales but their back 3 handled it well, I don't have the same confidence with ours.

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

Well said Ash, Cooper had a great game if you take out the yellow and goal-kicking. The yellow was soft and could easily be discarded IF he hadn't have had 2 yellows in the 2 previous games. Soft or not 3 yellows in 3 games is a cause of concern. Bloody Cooper, so close yet so far.

Maybe if anyone had a chance of actually being number 1 they'd care.

I think Scotland are playing the best I've ever seen them, really impressed with there win over Japan. But having said that the Boks would have learned a harsh lesson against Japan so I don't see them losing. I think this is going to be a cracker of a game though, Can't wait!

The scrums V Fiji were similar. They were nice to watch - very stable for the first 5-10 seconds.
