RWC 2019 1/4 Final Wales vs France

My impression was that the TMO said to Jaco, " I have a decision". Jaco then immediately said "So its a try". I really had the impression that the TMO was going to say the ball went forward but wasn't prepared to over-rule Jaco. In any case, I do believe the French could have won the game had...

That's right. Two years with two one year options. Can always be renegotiated if things turn out better than expected. Four year contracts should be labeled Cheika contracts and be banned for evermore.

Because Poey played as a notional and traditional No 7. Michael plays as a ? Maybe a 12 but he doesn't like it there.

KOB I reckon you could have done a better job once you got yourself out of the Cheika shadow.

If there was no or little relationship between the head coach and the CEO, then the HC should have been jettisoned a long time ago.

Arguable Derpus, but more than LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Dempsey and Hooper. ;)

https://www.rugby.com.au/news/2019/10/20/one-percenters-october-20 Wallabies drop to No 7 in WR (World Rugby) rankings. Thank you for everything Michael Cheika. I expect the new coach (yet to be named) will have an immediate impact by raising us to No 6 again after the SA/Japan game.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

Zero, I was really just making a facetious comparison of the war dances/chants of the PI nations to the haka - nothing more.

He was overlooked this year because of his age and the thought that he was injury prone. He is now in his early 20s and old enough, and has well and truly put to rest the concerns about his physical well being. He is an absolute rock in defense, probably the hardest hitting tackler in Aus rugby...

I want never to see either Foley or Beale near the Gold ever again.

Valetini should be a shoe-in for 6 next year and Pete Samu is the best of the rest for the bench.

Same applies to Jones imo. On the subject of locks, Enever is also still around and has I think 2 test caps. Maybe fortuitous, but I would rather have him than Rob Simmons any day of the week. If you include Foley under the Giteau rule, you'd also have to include Genia. Personally, I wouldn't...

NRC SF: Canberra Vikings v Fijian Drua, Sunday 20 October, 3pm AEDT

The scrum was good until Abra was replaced by Kahea. Fred is a bit of a monster in the open but his scrummaging is woeful. That was the reason the Vikings struggled in the first four rounds of the NRC this year. I think Nick Scrivener made the swap far too early in this game. Mid way through the...

    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

Why would they replace him? You have both Cane and Savea who are among the very best at No 7, and plenty of cover for the backrow otherwise although I note a few NZ posters here aren't overly impressed with the likes of Frizzel.
