RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

It just isn't going to happen but in my opinion it should. I reckon a combination of Dempsey, Pocock and Naisarani is better than any combination of Hooper, Pocock and one other.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

I expect most posters here will know that I have been anti-Cheika since the end of RWC2015. I am looking forward to seeing the back of him asap. But, I can see the Wallabies are in against England with a very good chance of getting the win. I don't think England's 2019 form has been overly...

NRC Rnd 7: Sydney v Western Force - Woollahra Oval - Saturday, 12 Oct - Noon (EDST)

^^^^ Very off putting. Amongst other howlers, they announced with about 10 minutes to go that Deegan had been signed by the Rebels. Consistently way behind the game or wrong names for players.

    RWC Week 4 matches

An easy fix might have been to have no games scheduled for 7 or 8 days before the QFs when any pool games could have been rescheduled if postponed earlier.

NRC Rnd 7: Sydney v Western Force - Woollahra Oval - Saturday, 12 Oct - Noon (EDST)

Half time Sydney 7 - Force 26. Sydney going better than the scoreline indicates but Fines/Deegan are almost untouchable for the Force. Still don't know what others see in Donaldson. Very ordinary at 10 while Harrison is very impressive. Swap them for a more effective setup.

NRC Round 7: Fiji Drua v QLD Country

Sensitive? Nah. Canberra gets a lot of bad press both on this site and generally. But it has many redeeming features which give it a flavour of a larger city without the obvious downsides of trying to live in a place as big as Sydney or Melbourne. Apart from the cafes you rightly refer to...

    RWC Week 4 matches

Sully, is it the case though between the last round robin games and the QFs? Haven't looked at the upcoming program, but I'd be surprised if any of the QFs were scheduled to occur mid-week.

Well that should be a definite disincentive if the remarks on this site by posters from elsewhere are any guide.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

I would say the evidence on the field of play is very convincing.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

The question should be, whats the best combination for the team? Kerevi, for all his assets, is not combining at all well with JOC (James O'Connor). In the past, he hasn't combined well with TK at 13. I know it's late in the piece, and I lay the total blame for that on Cheika, but to be facing the QF with...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

Yes, but only half the story. On form, it should be CLL at 10, To'omua at 12 and Kuridrani at 13 with JOC (James O'Connor) on the bench as injury cover. DHP to 15 and Beale misses out completely.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

So much tripe being sprouted by the Wallabies camp about the last 9 weeks (was it) of practising goal kicking. I would be shocked if any one of the players spent an extra 10 minutes after training to hone their goal kicking skills. Best can be said for To'omua is that his kicks generally go...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

Assuming most of this side is the one that Cheika is going to put out against England, I think they should have had every incentive to go 100%.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

Come on, let's be realistic. Complaints that To'omua can't pass from the right and then complaints that Kerevi is missing out because he's on the RHS which would require a left to right pass by To'omua. No consistency here. Maybe a closer look would see that it is actually JOC (James O'Connor) who is taking most...

Why? So far, MT is a standout for the Wallabies.

Hardly making any ground trying to go through the forwards against this Georgian side. So far, only Arnold, Rodda, Pocock, White and To'omua showing any form at all.

    Refereeing decisions

Sounds just like you're describing the ABs there BH. If it is intended for repeated infringements to mean a succession of any type of infringement by any number of players, then the Laws need to be rewritten to reflect that.
