Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Sure, but he had a broken arm. For a dominant style of prop that must be a debilitating injury.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

If it is right (and I'm not disputing it is) then why are our Kiwi coach and his Argentinian coach used the technique for the three years they've been in charge? Somehow I think it is not so simple. Our scrum was strong a year ago, and the article glides right past that inconvenient fact...

    TPN being flown to Europe

It is sounding like we have many technical problems in the scrum. It is sounding like we need a technical scrum coach.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

I thought this was the greatest All Black side of the current geological era? :fishing

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

I think the reason Davies isn't playing already is that he has a lot to learn in defence. The current back three aren't exactly poor, that they need to be replaced.

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

Farva, I'm really getting a hard-on for the idea of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Ioane in the centres.

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Recovery from a serious injury has several elements. One is fitness, another is form. We have several forwards who are notorious for taking longer than most to recover their form after an injury, e.g. Palu and Horwill. A third element of recovery is confidence.

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

Ioane has never played better for the Wallabies than the current back three have. Test form outweighs Super Rugby form. He has to earn his place.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

FingerS is the common thread in our scrummaging failures this year.

    TPN being flown to Europe

Perhaps, on schoolboy form. But Charles has easily produced the better Super rugby.

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Well, Robinson is recovering, Alexander is recovering, Nau is injured, Horwill is injured, Palu is injured. And last night, Moore was injured too. That is what has happened to our scrum. It is last year's scrum in the same way as an axe that has had three new handles and two new heads, is the...

That's why I was ragging you back, dwats. :)

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Last spring tour the scrum was highly effective against all comers.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

It would be unfortunate to revert to Ma'food when Slipper does so well. Alexander can play both sides. He should go on the bench for Slipper, if anything.

    TPN being flown to Europe

That was completely Slipper. Slipper has stabilised every scrum I've seen him join. Edmonds the reverse.

I hope this indicates he is recovered. It must indicate he is recovered. One hopes.

Yes. After England we can't ask this young team to back up against Italy, then France. We absolutely have to play the A team against Italy.

Wallabies v Wales G&GR player of the year

    3 - Beale 2 - Pocock 1 - JOC (James O'Connor)

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

I agree. With the current back three, that would be an outstanding backline for Cooper to direct.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

This is true. Rocky is failing on three counts here: He isn't moaning. He isn't pushing. He isn't cheating. There is no point having a loose forward as captain unless he moans, pushes and cheats.
