Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Got to be a wind up. Edit: sadly not

    TRC2021 - All Blacks v Springboks, Oct 2, 2021

Look for the grubber is the right half of the field with advantage. It's the Boks, you should have some. A deeper 10 isn't always bad. This is what Quade has done to allow more time to avoid the intercepts that Lolo was throwing. You do need to manage it with run makers. Should be plenty of...

It does. However an initial inclination to go outside is not right for a centre - they need to straighten (mostly). Going outside can be the initial instinct for a wing, albeit there is the sideline. Doesn't a 15 also have to straighten on kick returns? At least on occasion?

I don't think Stewart has proven an adequate 10 in any way whatsoever. Excellent defender in that slot if you want to play 10 man rugby. He frequently passed around a half dozen times a game - not what you want in a 10. If your game plan has your 10 with head in rucks and rarely distributing...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Thanks Bandar - one of those bloody auto-correct things that I missed. Fiji has a higher vaccination rate than Australia based on an ABC Tax-Stats review I watched yesterday. It's pretty important if correct as previously we had been told that Fiji was in trouble. Wrong thread as it turns out...

Apparently Fiji now has a higher tax rate than Australia.

    Reds 2022

It's tricky! Last year where non-Red WB fans were demanding 12-13 of Paisami, Petaia; many of us were warning, hang on a tick. That might be best for the WBs but they haven't earned it yet in Qld. Paisami did (at 13) and Petaia spent too much time in injury. This year you'd think that this year...

So Jordy has made anon statement about wanting 15. From Petaia we get athleticism that could match he who shall not be named. For me a key ingredient from Jock is reading the backline and organising. Interesting problem. And how does Grealy fit in that context?

Paisami also needed to sit as a second fly in order too bolster Lolo. Kerevi doesn't have that problem and Paisami may have benefited from Quade as well.

Nope. Don't know about how it went against the ABs and don't care. Their line out was shite on the night. We should definitely have attacked their throws, a seriously missed opportunity.

I'm not so convinced. Philip and Rodda looked OK, sort of. As an example generally you want the locks taking on the heavy work in traffic and trucking it up. Stats say 5 runs between the pair of them for 5m. Hardly inspiring. In D they took 18 tackles which over 105 tackles (for the team) in...

TBF, few wearing gold can do that either.

    TRC2021 - All Blacks v Springboks @ Townsville 25/09

Thought I might share this. Just as the AB's scored their first try, this beast buzzed my side of the river and scraped my roof. Something of a highlight to the experience of a Kiwi try. Unfortunately, we then had this with 5mins to go and I missed the live experience of a Kiwi #100 win live...

Off topic, but I suspect that Drua may have made an error in planning to base in Q.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Pumas @ Townsville 25/09

While we were playing the Pumas not the ABs, I thought the game style rattled into a touch looser territory with some passes and pushed play that might not have gone well against the ABs. I'm loving that our kicking game is now winning many of the the air-ball duels. Hooper very quiet by his...

We lost three of our 15 line outs.

If you judge Hooker just by the throw, then FF (Folau Fainga'a) in no improvement on that.
