Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

I mentioned this last season but I would like to see Holloway tried out at 4. He honestly couldn't be any less effective than Staniforth. What do people see in the guy? He's such a non-entity on the pitch. No go forward in contact. No significant impact in defence. And it's not like this game...

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

I think it's time to piss them off for good. Just make the god damn decision and move on.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

Another thing we need to learn particularly from a forwards perspective is hitting the ball at pace going forward. How we seem not to be able to learn this is beyond me.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

And now the commentators are making excuses for poor handling. The whole excuse of 'cobb webs' is one of the biggest problems with Rugby in this country.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

Get Staniforth off the fucking park. He adds nothing., Makes no impact with ball in hand. Clearly was a big lump growing up and has traded on it ever since.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

I'm not a fan of the front row as an ex-Prop. Robertson tends to be found out by bigger opponents with good technique far too often for my liking. Fitzpatrick is great around the ground but I'm not sold on his scrummaging yet. As for Ryan. I look upon him much as I go with Ben Alexander. A Prop...

    Australian Rugby / RA

That'd be true if I wasn't going to also watch the game. Until I read Bray's name I had been thinking about having the game on mute on my TV with the radio commentary on like I do with the Cricket. So I'd have known and would have been equally as frustrated by it.

    Australian Rugby / RA

I won't listening. His apparent inability to recognise the players drives me nuts.

    Super W Competition

Looking forward to seeing this probably a little more than I am Super Rugby itself.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

I think the $99 per annum would be quite reasonable. Providing they set it up right with all the potential content options actually present.

    Super W Competition

Considering I wasn't expecting any of the games to be broadcast on TV this is a win.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

TOCC, Mate, I've been suggesting that RA look to do something like this for quite some time. A complete OTT option for all competition from Premier club up. If the NBL can do it so can we. Imagine a offering where you can get every Aus Super Rugby/IPRC game, NRC, Aon and Super W and premier club...

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

While it does provide an interesting case study in terms of its growth in size and popularity you're essentially spot on in your assessment.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Well, using similar platforms to that of E-Sports was a stated option suggested by the IPRC group. I think the audience of the launch of the E-League is more of a reflection of the growing platform and popularity of E-Sports in general.

    NRC onwards and upwards

I'm not completely against the two NSW team set up but would prefer to seeing it stay at 8 weeks minimum.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

How are you with html? Because that's the surefire way of solving the paragraph issue. Anyway, I like to look at the set up of the IPRC and any future involvement from Australian teams beyond the Force as an opportunity creation exercise. Say if post 2020 the other four Aus franchises jump...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

My information comes from several blokes with direct and publicly known connections to MLR. The initial bond payment was $500k but as it came apparent they were going to get their TV deal it jumped up to $2m. I suspect it's the reason Dallas fell out of contention and the likes of Kansas City...

As for the RC. I'd like to see it merged with the PNC (Pacific Nations Cup) to a two tiered championship. Nitin the US. If the Eagles ever become competitive SANZAAR will probably be falling over themselves to get them on board.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

The investment is around $2m a season as a bid payment to the league at present plus your extra operational costs. Cannot see the owners seeing much change out of $4m a season at present. As for catching Argentina. They've progressively begun to get the upper hand over the Arg XV since the ARC...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

It's their placeholder thankfully. Don't worry there's been plenty of discussion about it. They'll be re-branding in the second half of this year.
