    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Hope that comes to pass. Would quite like to see these games.

    Waratahs 2018

Really? I saw him in actions several times last season in the NRC for NSW Country and I'm struggling to recall anything other than what we're seeing at present for the Tahs. Plenty of touches. Sure. But little to no impact in the contact.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

2020 and beyond is the ultimate goal, yes. That would be all the Aus franchises plus both the Sunwolves and the Drua featuring in a IPRC based competition alongside at least 3 more Asian based locations for a minimum of 10 teams. Ideally 12. But I also think that something should be done to...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

A supercharged NRC wouldn't be the worst outcome for all parties. The Force would be reinstated. Could add a few Asian based squads. Bringing the numbers to say 12. Would be able to still run it over a 12 week period by splitting it into two pools.

    Waratahs 2018

Wouldn't mind seeing Perry Baker in a Tahs jersey.

    Super W Competition

    No surprises there.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Some guys on another forum linked with a couple of these Unions are saying that this is intended to be a full schedule league of professional status. Not semi-pro but full time. Which means as many as 14 rounds plus finals. Which would be amazing. In regards to the professional status. I think...

    NRC onwards and upwards

The teams at present are completely disconnected from the professional wing.

    NRC onwards and upwards

I tend to think it's more ideal than the current situation. The more integration between the levels is what's needed to ensure a more consistent flow of talent throughout.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

An 8 team continental professional league planned for South America to launch as soon as 2019. http://www.americasrugbynews.com/2018/02/26/south-american-professional-rugby-coming-2019/

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Their solution to the issues they are experiencing is to expand from 10 teams to 12. Stretching their already limited base even further. If they continue to go down that path then they are cooked. Pretty sure the SS had better figures last season than the A-League is witnessing.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Those A-League ratings are bloody dire. Don't even have the BBL to use as an excuse for them. Considering that it was for a SA team 88k is actually pretty good. An average of 80k for the two Aus home games. Hopefully we can keep that average going. Will be helped if the teams perform.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

He was the same in the NRC. Plenty of touches but no actual impact in the contact zone.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

And yet you think Staniforth is a better option?

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

He's the only Tahs forward who plays with the requisite urgency at that level so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he could just be the only one busting his arse to be effective in play.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

You could teach Holloway the position. I have serious doubt Staniforth could ever learn how to be more effective in the contact.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

He couldn't do worse than Staniforth. An absolute non-entity taking the ball into contact tonight. Same as in the NRC. At least Holloway can perform a some level.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

I also stand by my assessment of the front row pre-game. I wasn't proven wrong.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

Then Brumby Runner a rubbish judge of a player. Built like Tarzan and if he played like Jane that would be an upgrade.

Super Rugby Round 2: Waratahs v Stormers

Kepu will help a lot. The only one of our props that would start at any other franchise in the competition (outside of Aus.) Hell, I wouldn't select our starting props for bench positions.
