IF NZ and Aust meet ........

Well looking at the poor games from South Africa this year against Japan and Argentina, two key culprits for the loss are gone in De Villers and Matfield. Other guys are more then capable of stepping up and putting in world class performances - Bismark, Shaulk, Louw. Their locks are world...

    Wallaby Locks - The Future

I always thought he played most of his rugby in the backrow. Would be great if could play more lock though, he would be a great style of player to challenge Douglas as the enforcer type lock. Not sure what his line-out skills are like though? Don't think he should be a backrower as we already...

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

I actually have a funny feeling it's going to be South Africa and us in the final. You heard it here first.

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

Really? I'd take SBW or Nonu over Gits. Different skill-set but I think Nonu/SBW is more suited to Test rugby. I'd also take Carter, Barrett, Slade, or Cruden (if fit) over Foley - even after his superb game against England. But Folau would own a wing spot if he was in NZ.

    That was absolute gold!

Except we weren't favourite. England and NZ were. ;)

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

Roles are different in the back row in both side, it's closer too: Fardy V Read = Read Kaino V Hooper = Kaino of 2011 wins but he ain't the same now. Close call. McCaw V Pocock = On current form Poey wins this but McCaw could scrap through for his leadership/Captaining. So close call again...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Hopefully this article is simply praising our players attitude rather then Cheika supporting the fact players are hiding niggling injuries. I mean suggesting an injured Horne is more valuable then any of our other wingers at 100% is crazy talk.

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

Should have made the participation fee less and the prize pool larger, at least for the Teir 1 nations.

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

You can't compare the profits of the Football (soccer) World Cup to Rugby. Your comparing the most popular sport in the world, played by billions of people compared to Rugby which is played by millions. The Football World Cup is the biggest event in the world, bigger then the Olympics...

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

Well that depends on how much they signed him for.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

Sounds to me like he planned this all along, have a crack at the RWC and then bugger back off to France. Wasn't it the Toulon owner who said after O'Connor signed a 2 year deal with the Reds that he will definitely be back in only one year after the RWC? Not sure the media were all that bad...

We also lost in perfect weather recently too. You know when Git's missed that conversion!

Ledesma keen to stay in Oz

Great point TOCC. The Reds scrum this year has been a shining light in what was otherwise a poor Reds season. Dan Palmer has also been doing a great job with the Brumbies. There scrum has had it's up's and downs this year but otherwise it has performed very well - at least when Sio was back...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

The welsh looked scary in the first 15mins, dominated every aspect of the game but they are just unable to score tries. I think they had 90% of the possession then. When we finally got the ball we looked dangerous but accuracy let us down, mainly in passing. I'm not worried though, we...

Your probably still riding the Foley-high from last week. It's blurring your vision ;)

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I don't think they are any longer, still lacks distance compared to others, but his accuracy and execution is much much better, always finding space. Really good to see as I was always very critical of that part of his game. Gits left boot has been a huge help too. Takes off so much pressure...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

But will he start or go to the bench? I think Mitchell was pretty good last night with a couple of nice block-busting runs, I'd prefer him on the wing.
