RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I think Cheika will go with McCalman too but I am so keen to see how McMahon will go against a top teir nation, I would love to see him start. Beale to fullback is way more likely then shifting AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). Beale has more experience at fullback, and is generally considered a very good one. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) also...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

From a poster who previously suffered from Anti-Foley syndrome, I hope he can replicate even half the game he played last week, I'd hate for my condition to flare up again. But to be fair, one absolutely great game in gold doesn't make you a great player. I truly hope its not a one-off.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I disagree Cooper can do wing and fullback at a pinch. I think it's been proven this season he isn't very versatile, he's a sole 10. If you want the best cover then you have to pick Speight or Mitchell on the bench. Although, I'd suspect Cooper may get on the bench anyway, Cheika might want to...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

It's a pretty damn good position to be in to lose 2 of our best players and still have confidence in the replacements. McCalman or McMahon will get the job done. Beale/Mitchell - will do just fine at fullback And we got so many damn wingers I'm sure one will be in-form by now. If this was...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

McMahon deserves a start. Although I'm still slightly skeptical given we thought he was the Bee's Knees after his Barbarian game last year only to be fairly disappointing the next match, But there is no doubt he deserves a start after oustanding performances this year, just hope he is effective...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

He never used to be like this though, last year his service was fine. It only stated creeping in the back end of the super xv season this year. What the hell happened!?

Mate, backing up posters who wouldn't even take White as a third choice half-back in the squad is ridiculous. I do actually prefer Phipps up-tempo game, I backed him until last game when I finally said "ok enough is enough" those passes are a now a bad habit. I can't comprehend people...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

You seriously can't ague Phipps has had only one poor pass, it's happened so many times now and all posters like you do is make excuses for him. Sure it's Fardy fault because he ducked. Sure it's the Boks fault for pestering him in the ruck. Phipps is rushing and making mistakes, or...

Ummm.... What about Phipps he has been the most inconsistent player all year.

It should be half back now that I've put some thought into it. If a player goes down 24 hours before a match we have cover and bench cover for each position except for half-back (unless you include Gits but I don't think we should given he's first choice 12).

Why? You don't like a player who can score tries and kick 50m goals to win us a Test match against the number one rugby team in the world?

The wisest choice is probably to bring in White, to cover injury if either Phipps or Genia go down. Most 31 squads have 3 half backs, we only got 2 and a half with Gits, mainly because Cheika wanted 2 opposing teams for the first couple of matches, those games are over so it's now time to focus...

I hope McMahon will start I'd want to give Poey more experience at the back of the scrum.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Did anyone notice Fardy's clean-out around the 14min mark on the side of the field, now that was a good clean out!

You might even think about flying Gill over, If Poey goes down another fetcher who is strong over the ball who can team up with Hooper would be handy. Otherwise our effectiveness at the breakdown is greatly reduced, or Hooper will have to change his intent. I love the strategy of Hooper...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Your not allowed to charge into the ruck? I thought the only issue was the shoulder and possibly attacking the head.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Actually the clean out was the right height to connect with his head but he missed to the side. So they may argue intent for that reason. Although I don't 100% agree with that but I could certainly see the commissioner arguing that. If it's any more then 1-2 weeks I'd be pretty pissed off.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

What are you trying to say? Because he didn't directly connect with Browns head it's okay? That's bullshit. He could easily be found guilty of 1. Using no arms (he only used one) 2. attacking the head (he grazed his head). Whether he was successful at directly hitting his head won't matter...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Yes. But correct technique would require Hooper to use his arms AND not attack Browns head, attacking Brown in a lower position. If an injury results in that then it's just bad luck.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

A shoulder to the head, lucky he missed Browns head or their could have been a serious injury. His intention was fine, his technique wasn't.
