New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

Nice blocker play from the Wallabies, we haven't seen enough of that.

Peyper hasn't even given them a warning.

Think he got that scrum call wrong, too. Probably from the previous scrums with the ABs being on top. Even Kafer bagging the ref.

Cooper on, To'omua off, Genia with another shocker of a kick.

How many more penalties can the ABs give away in their 22 without a yellow?

Kearns bitching about the scrum, looks like our scrum couldn't take the pressure and thus couldn't hook. Kearns is very annoying. Alexander off, Kepu on, we'll see if it settles now.

Yeah, pop to JOC (James O'Connor) and he's in. Only mistake this game so far.

    Scrum tactics

Wow, can't disagree more. Where's the "dislike" button? The scrum is NOT the hit. The scrum should be what happens AFTER the hit. Take away the hit, and you go back to what it is was prior to the hit - wrestling and pushing over the ball. Were the scrums contested then? Yes. Nothing...

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/gregor-paul/news/article.cfm?a_id=196&objectid=11111631 Gregor Paul really doesn't rate the Australian players, does he? You can try to justify Taylor, somehow, but come on, Slade? Really? Surely he's just taking the piss.....surely?

    Gregor Paul isn't a Kiwi.

You're probably right, I would have been seeing things through my haze of depression in that last 30 minutes. Still think his knee has issues - pace is well down, rarely steps (that step on Cruden to score vs the Chiefs is one of the few I can remember this year).

I reckon he still has knee issues. His pace is down and his knee looked to be heavily strapped when he came on.

    Rebels 2014

Pretty sure it's a government policy, thought it was brought in around the early 2000s by a government minister - it has nothing to do with the IRFU. I've seen it used to refer to sportspeople outside RU. Too lazy to Google it though.

That's surely got to be one of the weaker All Black benches that we have faced in a while. Maybe a false hope that we can close out the game a little better?

    Rebels 2014

I think you mean the favourable tax payment, not IRFU payment. Irish sportspeople who finish their career in Ireland can claim back 40% of the tax they paid over a 10 year period (or something like that). That's worth a lot of money. You won't see many Irish players playing abroad once they...

    Beale to Tahs, where?

Gerard Beale is a wing/fullback who played for the Broncos before switching to St George. Currently out with a long term injury (actually, he's been out most of the season), I think, hence why the Dragons were desperate for Dugan. Played a few games for NZ. Still rather young. Not a bad...

Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

Latter. Anything is better than zero, sadly.

    Australian Rugby Development Centre

I don't know how the TG Millner development will go, but Ballymore had/has issues with NIMBY residents who were/are very, very vocal. Have a quick look over: http://www.redsrugby.com.au/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=VXxs7f0ggRk%3d&tabid=660 I think they would have opposed the QRU's vision until...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

RugbyReg may know more about the size of Ballymore, but it basically sits next to a flood plain. Including the surrounding plains etc, it is significantly larger than TG Millner. I don't know if that floodplain is usable or not, but I would have assumed yes. They had planned to build a village...
