Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Wobs go too early in the scrum, looked marginal. JOC (James O'Connor) again needed more patience, that ball was going in goal and maybe dead. Good kick though in the end from JOC (James O'Connor) to take play to just short of the halfway.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

O'Connor stepped into touch after I thought. Wrong call by the touchie from the replay. JOC (James O'Connor) needs to show a bit more awareness. Unlucky for SA.

Lilo kicks the penalty, 10 - 6 to SA with 22 gone.

Penalty for not releasing by JDV, fair enough call too. Did not release then went straight off his feet. Better play off that scrum by the Wallabies, Cooper took the ball to the line with options. The last scrum though, the Beast drove through Kepu. Not promising.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) needed to pass the ball there. Was a great hit on Fardy earlier, with the Boks being very physical at the rucks. Good steal by the doctor, thought Moore may have been offside.

Lilo with the first intercept to Habana. Lucky penalty after Cooper gets a push. That was a really nasty bounce of the ball, great for SA. O'Connor needs to do more with his touch finders.

    Surely they were all offside?

Genia needs to get in the ref's air, Fardy doing the job there.

Wallabies need to watch the discipline, these penalties are going to give the coach a huge headache.

And on replay, it was a questionable decision from the ref, but he didn't like Genia kicking at it by the looks.

And in contact with the 9 and 10 too, after winning the collision. You can't give away those percentage balls in test rugby, or it will be a long night. Genia gives away a penalty for being offside, he's been pushing that for a few games now.

Cummins 2 from 2 drops. Not a great start.

Good variation in running that out. Unlucky call against the Boks, that was a mistake by Genia I thought.

Yeah, Folau getting involved a lot already, some nice touches. That kick and chase was clearly a planned move, but the rest of the Wallabies need to get their quicker.

Wow, yellow, big call. Would like to see a replay, but if he was offside and it was a deliberate knock down, then it's a good decision. Brave early call though.

Wow, you must be the only person in the world who thinks that Douglas is in better form than Horwill. That's impressive.

All east states and territories of Australia are in the same timezone (GMT +10). This includes NSW, Qld, Vic, Tas and ACT. SA and NT are in a different timezone (GMT +9.5) and WA in another (GMT +8). Most Wallaby test generally kick off for some reason kick off at 8pm in the eastern states...

    Waratahs 2014

Why? I suspect his move to the Reds had a lot to do with money, i.e. the Reds could pay him a lot more, and playing opportunity. Carraro would be on a lot, lot less than what Lachie could demand (or hope for?) as a Wallaby.

    Refereeing decisions

In the original video, I think that there was definitely no ruck formed, so it was a tackle situation. Therefore, the Province 12 did not have to come through the gate. In essence, he just joined the tackle. The province 12, though, broke two laws (too lazy to look up the numbers): 1...

Cummins was playing right wing on the EOYT last year (particularly against England), if I remember correctly.
