Far out our kicking sucks. Foley cannot and should not be going for high balls.

On a positive Kerevi is the new 12. Goodbye double playmaker system. Falou a threat as always.

The penalty should have led to a yellow for the infringement, they already had a warning in the red zone.

Had to go for the line-out, Foley can't kick goals from the sideline.

England easily out-kicking us. They kicked maybe 5 effective kicks. Verse 4 of ours which gifted them possession

Foley's kicking has been terrible, Same with Phipps passing.

Most 10's are the first players to drop back when we are short a player in the backfield. I don't think the goal is for them to always drop back though. I also don't think it would disrupt patterns that much having some-one else defend the 10 channel in set-piece. Like your 7. I really don't...

He'll be 22? I have been pretty critical of him recently but I forget how young he is. Think how good he will be in 2-3 years time.

I hope Morahan gets a good run, I've always rated him.

I'd prefer McCalman starting too but it will have little affect on the games strategy with either McMahon or McCalman. So it would be a pointless ploy.

    I prefer the 5-3 split.

Interesting Mumm is the lock replacement. Thought Horwill would be the better choice. Cheika certainly has favouritism for Mumm and McMahon.

I was surprised Slipper didn't get the nod before him in game 1 actually - given super xv form. Thought Sio has been average all year. Sio must have been rewarded for his RWC form, unfortunately scrum let him down. Sio at his best Verse Slipper at his best - that is a tough tough call, I'd...

I don't think McMahon is a really another seven though. He plays no-way like a tradition seven does. I think choosing him reflects a change in strategy - if Cheika wanted a like-for-like replacement he would have gone with Gill. I would have gone for the traditional set-up too in McCalman 8...

That's because Hooper performs that role around the park, of a traditional 8. Poey is still the seven around the park. Set-piece and the numbers on the back are the only difference. Can't believe people still haven't worked this out. Although I agree his form wasn't his usual dominating self...
