    Wallabies v France 3rd Test - 21 June Sydney

We already had about 50kgs on them last week so this should give us a near 100 kg weight advantage! Good or bad? I guess if our scrum does not do well then it is purely down to technique.

Skelton is definitely a starter. He can have a big influence in the opening exchanges rather than provide speed late in a game. Most of the time your bench locks are 5/6 type players. This is a great opportunity for the big fella. Hope he kills it.

Then there was this. Higgers standing in for Palu maybe to give him more time? With Skelton starting I would go with Higgers. Speed off the back of a steady scrum and a legitimate line out option.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Thats the way to go with the front row I would think. Only sub them if there is an injury or if we are up by about 30pts.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

When Skelton is ready he should start or not be in the 23 at all. I imagine the goal would be 40-50 minutes before replacing him with a faster player a la Jones. With Fardy at 6 and Big Mac or Higgers at 8 and Simmons you have your 3 main line out jumpers. In attacking line outs he will be in...

Who calls the line outs at the Brumbies?

What is the word on Dan Palmer at Grenoble? I think he is contracted there until the end of this year. Wonder if Link is trying to get him back for 2015?

Then there is also Tomane coming back to be considered. Unfortunately there will most likely be other injuries over time and it is nice to have some depth to cover them. Neither of our current wingers or the outside back reserve have express pace. Speight and Tomane do. If all were fit and...

I would actually like to see Higgers start and play 80 mins but I will be happy to see him get 30 off the bench this week. 12pm today? OK

Good point. The French will be better but so will the Wallabies. Is there any truth to the rumor that Palu is in doubt? Love to see Higgers get 30 minutes either way. As the game opens up he can be very effective.

I think Higgers should just be there either way. McCalman and Palu are very similar at 8. Start one and have Higgers on the bench to inject later in the game at 8 or 6. edit - or as an early replacement as he has a full 80 minutes in him (just to be sure)

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Palu and McCalman are such similar players. Very strong, direct and productive. It doesn't make much sense to have both in the 23. I would start Palu next week with Higgers on the bench to come on when the game opens up in the second. Front row was a laughing stock....again when our "new" props...

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

I don't believe it. This is a game the Brisbane public can come out to where there is a good chance that their team will actually win for once.

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Chiming in a bit late but what a good looking side! Congrats to Sam Carter. It is well deserved. Expect fireworks when Horwill comes off the bench. Sio unlucky to miss out on a bench spot but the Force's scrum has been very good this year. Will be interesting to see how our set piece is at the...

Phipps performance on the weekend was excellent behind a dominant pack. He just gets to the base of the ruck and clears very quickly continually. His running game has also come on this year. Genia was better this weekend but he still hesitates at times and kicks the ball away too much. Mind you...

By all accounts Ma'afu is going very well and is anchoring his sides scrum with authority. I hope Link is keeping an eye on him.

I forgot he was only train on. Should be in the squad. Kepu is good but Ryan looked better last night at scrum time. Kepu offers a lot around the field but his scrummaging has been a little inconsistent
