Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

Please, I think that my syntax and grammar are a little better than that.:)

Indeed he did, but he's not obliged to follow it. Only penalty in the whole match where a front row player from either side was penalised IIRC. Interesting that they focussed on that one - particularly when the team feeding had clearly won the ball. (Which is one of my pet hates)

Nige always manages to come up with a few very odd calls during games - maybe so he can give a rambling explanation in that musical Welsh accent, knowing that he'll be at the centre of attention. It's amazing how often these wierd calls seem to favour the ABs as the opposing captain stands...

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

I was a high quality performance from the Wallabies. We were as good as them in all facets of the game except goal kicking and the scrum. Always hard to beat the ABs, just that little bit more difficult with N. Owen in charge. Some truly wierd calls in that match - the tip, the loose head...

Statsitics aren't as definitive as they might be. Hodge only given the long distance kicks in many games which brings down success rate.

More than the Waratahs can draw.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yes you have the same three teams to play against, but you have much more opportunity to generate interest when you play a series. You strike me as a rusted on rugby fan. Without looking it up, tell me who won TRC for the past 3 years (I have no idea by the way). Rightly or wrongly, it's not...

Well done Warringah. Fantastic crowd at North Sydney - well over 15,000.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Tell me PB, is CC more popular in SA than Super Rugby? Just about every SA expat that I know tells me that it is.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Nothing would bring with it the level of support like Lions supporters provide. I don't think that the long tours will come back either becasue of the way the game is now structured, but I do think that a 3 or 4 test tour would generate much more interest than TRC does in terms of public...

    Shute Shield 2017

Particularly as Tim Kellaher has self-identified as being the person responsible for youth recruiting at the time.;)

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I couldn't agree more. Nothing better than those full tours - as seen by the interest that Lions tours generate in the host country. A great opportunity for younger players to fix with established test players and play midweek games against tough provincial opponents.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Us oldies know and appreciate it PB, but many younger Aussie supporters think that the Bledisloe is the most important to the Kiwis. The absence of SA teams because of the apartheid boycotts and a relatively strong period in Aust rugby in the 80s and 90s reinforce this in their minds.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And we need people running the game in Australia who get this, rather than people whose first worry seems to be NZ flying over us to SA.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I actually thought that the SA teams were quite good this year. I loved the way the Kings played - every game I saw them in was excitement plus. (Something of a contrast to every game I saw an Aussie team in btw) And notwithstanding the way the draw worked, the Lions were definitely top 4 in...

But the ARU dying is. Wish they'd take the NSWRU and the QRU with them in a mass resignation festival.

On couple of days ago we had Clyne saying this: n a statement ARU chairman, Cameron Clyne confirmed the ARU had turned down the multi-million offer. “We were genuinely appreciative of Andrew’s generous offer to back the Western Force and Australian Rugby, however, given the position we are...
