    Where to for Super Rugby?

Has anyone actually said this? IIRC most people have said that SA games are played at a time which isn't conducive to Australian viewers. No one that I can remember has said SA should change their times to suit us, just that their time zone doesn't fit. It's the essential problem with the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Any Fiji (or other PI) participation would be paid for by WR (World Rugby), so Fiji wouldn't have to fund it.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

That's your 3rd attempt at trolling with that one. Seems everyone else just enjoyed the game.

Not as similar as you might think BH. Australia v Scotland at Sydney 19 June 2004 - crowd 56,000 Australia v Scotland at Melbourne 13 June 2004 - crowd 38,000 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Scotland_rugby_union_tour_of_Oceania

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Don't think that the number of teams will make any difference. Super rugby is now completely disconnected from so many rugby followers, I doubt there is any way back. If we're not careful, the Wallabies will also be enveloped by the tsunami.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Doubt the game will be solvent in Australia in three years the way it's going.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Agree 100%. They should actually be on to a plan now so that it would be fully costed, planned and structured by the beginning of 2019, to be launched by the end of 2019 and hit the ground running at the start of 2020. Unfortunately the track record of rugby administration in this country...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

At the moment, Australian rugby doesn't have the money to participate in a trans-continental competition whether it's 5 teams, 4 teams, 3 teams or less. Why would any sponsor pay money to support teams who are barely visible and at times invisible? The whole thing is madness.

We know what they don't want, but we keep on giving to them.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think that the trans-continental, multi-time zone concept is a big part of the problem. Rugby in Australia needs to pare things right back to basics. I'd be running either a national competition a la NRC, with a champions league type concept attached.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'd been surprised if the VRU is going to be the only state RU which will be unable to afford continued involvement in super rugby. I'd be looking further north to an RU which has plenty of experience in going broke and is doing its best to get there again.

Much like the headless chooks we have running the game now.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I doubt that there is any part of the professional game in Australia which isn't awash in red ink.

Nasty little cheap shot, which may or may be factually incorrect, but in any case belongs on the scholarship thread.
