    Where to for Super Rugby?

That's how Souths stayed in the NRL. Not many people remember that in the end they lost in the final court hearing, but well before that the NRL had to publish draws, book grounds etc so Souths were readmitted.

    Waratah Shield 2016

Hills apparently had a rugby league grand final today. Don't these sports high schools get some ARU funding for their rugby programme?

    Shute Shield 2017

^^^Hard to argue with any of those

    Sydney Colts - 2017

Good on you for putting up your hand and coaching a lower grade colts side. I've done it myself and know the amount of time and effort that you would have put in. Congratulations on winning the premiership, I'm sure that the boys appreciate your work. Don't let the knockers get to you.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

Owen is in awe of the ABs and they know it. Some of his contorted explanations to opposing captains as to why some bizarre call has gone the ABs are things to behold. At one stage (I think during an injury break), he was having a lengthy chat with Coles about the match - who isn't even...

    I wouldn't have thought so.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Agree, I've never really had a problem getting to either of those grounds.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Some parts of Sydney aren't serviced by rail links, unlike other big cities.

BH, tens of thousands of posts and you get sucked into a Foley v Cooper discussion. :)

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Dare I say it, but all sports need to get back to encouraging supporters to attend games. The TV dollar is on the wane and made for payTV products like super rugby (and to a lesser extent TRC) aren't what we should be hitching our wagon to. Fan engagement is the way and neither of the SANZAAR...

No surprise in either. I think the only involvement that the ARs had all game was spotting a loose head prop not pushing straight (this apparently caused a knock on at the back of the scrum;)). Nige can been seen looking back after the second last pass. No request for it to be checked...

No surprises here. (from 2016) Welsh rugby referee Nigel Owens praises 'consistently good' All Blacks during test week http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/all-blacks/85497663/welsh-rugby-referee-nigel-owens-has-never-been-approached-to-match-fix

WE agree on most things, but I've never bought the view that Owen is the best ref in the world. He's a good referee, but a show pony. He likes to referee the All Blacks and they like him with the whistle for fairly obvious reasons. Nothing sinister or improper in it, it's just the way it is...

Particularly at an indoor stadium where there is zero impact from external factors.

Have just seen in on you tube. 5 metres from the AR with no players obstructing the view. No intervention by TMO. Interesting. Lets' see if World Rugby take this on and the tip on Hanigan. Incident is at 1 hour 6 minutes on the recording.

No he didn't, that was vintage Nige. He referees like that every match like that. What, you mean like being consistent with scrum penalties?

He needs to take it back so far because of his run up. Any closer and half his kicks would be charged down.
