    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Perhaps Habana covering halfback maybe? It's been done before. Kankowski will be keen but its a trio we haven't seen before so might have a few issues with timing and combination.

Really surprised to see Brown in there. Unless he's been "training the house down" then there is no other form to suggest he should be selected. He will need to be more assertive at the contact areas and show more agression. Anybody running a book on how many times we will see the Rocky hands...

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Rabbit on the wing wouldn't be a bad move at all. The guy is pretty elusive and stronger than most would think. Knows how to sniff a pie as well. Better than having AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) out wide who seems to go missing when he's not at FB for some strange reason. Rocky to 8 seems to be what some are...

    All Blacks vs Springboks, Wellington

None really. I hate it when I see a team play better than the ABs, and that's what happened during that dark days of 98-02. OZ were a better team. ABs still had some "class" players but OZ were a well oiled machine for most of those years.

    All Blacks vs Springboks, Wellington

DPK - I don't buy into much of the hyperbole about players "striking fear" from any country even the ABs. It always made me laugh when I heard guys rabbit on about Jerry Collins etc etc. But I guess fans get wrapped up in the game in different ways and each to their own. I think the OZ squad...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

Won't happen. last time he did that he broke his hand for Queanbeyan. Plus he's fatigued, more rugby isn't the answer....

    Talent wasted in mungo ball

The Wallabies don't need any of these guys IMO. They have the players, its just that said players need to pull finger. It's hard to base league form to any semblence of union form - for good or bad. Who would have thought Andrew Walker would have rated so high in rugby when I thoought he was...

Bob Dwyer on the Bok vs ABs

It was also used in rugby. Some ol timers still occassionally say about a player that he is a "centre-three quarter" type Edit: I should have read the thread. Lee summed it up and without digressing either :)

I just agreed with Jeremy Paul

I used to watch that rugby show every week in previous years, but could count on one hand the amount of times this year. Cannot stand the host and as noted JP adds absolutely nothing. Marto seems to have less prominence (actually don't mind him), and Kafe's LCDBoard isn't what it used to be...

Bob Dwyer on the Bok vs ABs

The offload game is something Henry has been using since 04-05. We even took this high tempo game into the 07 WC and used it well even in that 1st half of the QF. Went away from it when it counted though.... Last year the execution and better aggression from the Boks and Frenchies did us...

All Blacks vs Springbokke : Auckland

How so? They looked fairly fired up to me and full of attack. The biggest problem they faced was that they struggled to get their hands on the ball and slow ours down in that 1st half. They just couldn't win the collisions. It happens even when you're not flat and have prepared well etc.

    Wallabies Tri Nations

From what I've seen of both, I think Beale has far better quickness off the mark. Over 50m Hynes would be quicker though and probably better in counter attack situations. Beale has very quick feet IMO and can react better with the defensive line rushing at him. That's why he's probably better...

Total number of national players ever

No I don't. I understand your point, just not RugbyFuture's. Everyone is Indigenous insofar that they originate from somewhere. What is he asking?

Total number of national players ever

1106 to be exact cyclo. Rene Ranger being 1106. Not all 1106 on the list have played test matches. The NZ rugby museum site has all that stuff. Used to be updated by a former TSFer. Does OZ have a site with this sort of stuff...

Total number of national players ever

From that list I think everyone in the Wallabies is "indigenous"......

All Blacks vs Springbokke : Auckland

JDV is smart player and I think there must be some concerns over Kirchner's ability to cover the back defensively. Jantjies and Frans Steyn both ahead of Kirchner as FB options, but both are injured, so it seems they are covering the best they can. JDV has played wing at test level so no...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

If that is even a remote possibility surely he would have been named. He's goneski for mine unless he's under some injury cloud. Makes way for Shepherd, which is a smart move. Hynes can play on the wing with Diggers. Horne isn't ready IMO for 3Ns as a centre, so they need AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to play there...

All Blacks vs Springbokke : Auckland

I know Russouw is seen a the guy that provides versatility off the bench, but wouldn't Bekker provide lock/back row options also. Bekker is in great form IMO and a tough cover for any team.

    Wallabies Tri Nations

I haven't been impressed with Elsom's performances since returning to OZ. Seems to have lost that running game that he really turned up the heat on in Europe. One problem (at least at the Brumbies and now in the Wallabies) is that he has had to do alot of tight work which IMO isn't his natural...

    Wallabies V Ireland, Brisbane

When Burgo passes off the deck or takes the ball forward he looks the goods. When he picks up the ball, pauses, takes a couple of shuffle steps to the side and passes, he looks ordinary, very very ordinary
