    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

At this stage of their careers, giving both time in the squad is not a bad plan at all. Either might play a critical role in 2019, but we don't, and Cheika may not, know who it's more likely to be.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Do they get to keep most of the ticket costs? If so, they shouldn't have any problem turning a profit at all.....

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Jones has been playing almost exclusively lock in France, I think only a couple of games at 6 (like maybe 2 or 3?) over the last 3 years. Not to say he wouldn't be good at 6, but it's a bit like those wanting To'omua to play 10 at the start of the TRC, there is almost no recent body of work to...

Throwing was definitely an issue with the lineout - have a read of Justin Harrison from the first Bled https://www.rugby.com.au/news/2018/08/22/wallabies-lineout-harrison

Yeah, we have 8, 6 and 6 days gap, and then 6 or 7 days gap for a quarter, so don't need to manage the workload quire as closely

You're answering your own question here - the NSWRU are financially responsible for the Waratahs. (And RA is on the hook for NSWRU). Another pro team competing for players, fans and sponsorship $$$ puts those three entities at risk. Money spent propping up the Tahs is money not spent on...

You're completely right, which is probably why RA are so worried about the competativness, and hence financial viability of the remaining 4 Super Rugby teams with 2 new Australian based pro rugby teams and X number of other teams looking to fill their rosters

You ask Twiggy to guarantee he won't poach players from existing super rugby, ITM Cup or Shute Shield sides, and if he won't you block the Sydney and New Zealand teams until after 2020

    The Wallabies Thread

Because the Australian junior rugby pathway hasn't produced a genuinely world class long term senior 10 since Lynagh in the mid-80s?

Isn't this the sticking point? RA want to limit where the players are sourced from, and limit eligibility of players not in Australia, and WSR don't want these limits
