    Where to for Super Rugby?

I reckon the main drawcard is international standard players based in Australian teams. Call it a domestic comp if you want, but really it's just a name. The only way that has been possible is the GMT timezone TV subsidy, and enough foreign teams to play against that we can concentrate...

John Smit going back a little.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Sat 27th October 4.45pm AEDT, Nissan Stadium, Japan

Genia's covering defense has been diabolical at time. Have a look at the first half highlights of the Argie match (if you dare). I give him a little bit more credit than you do - I think he is positioned (by the game plan) wrong a lot of the time - he's too close to where the break is made so...

2 was Hanigan's limp effort after getting stuck on the scrum. 3 was indeed a nice planned move with the sneaky block in there.

Agree defense was better, but those misses by the inside backs one on one just kill us against the ABs. Try 1 - KB (Kurtley Beale) straight miss Try 2 - from the scrum, try is on the 6 but honerable mention to Genia for standing next to the tackle offering no help at all. Try 3 - from a scrum again 6 cops...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The viewing numbers aren't difficult to determine. Two weeks delay is frankly laughable for a digital product. What's difficult is for the head of FFA to spin what the numbers say in the most positive light possible given the disasters Foxtel ratings. I take your point that RA aren't even in a...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Streaming numbers on Telstra were around 6k for some of the round 1 games Edit - based on oztam survey with all of the issues that raises with measurement. (Ie why would someone with a fox box in the survey watch it on their phone?)

    Global Rapid Rugby

At least the timezone works in our favour this way. Games on there will be good times to watch - as opposed to the GMT comps

once these sort of guys injure their shoulders it really does seem like a major hurdle for them to trust it ever again. The other part of it is there's such a large history of 10s ending up with concussion problems. There's a school of thought that you're better off keeping the smaller guys out...

Mo'unga defends on the wing, and not particularly well either

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Kind of fits here. Eng prems and RFU have agreed on some player welfare guidelines The key announcements include: Guaranteed in-season breaks for players in each of the three seasons. Mandatory five-week post-season rest for all players, which includes two weeks' absolute rest and three...

    Proposed Nations Championship

Oh for the heady days of the 1966 tour when they played 35 matches! (As an aside, Brisbane test match attendance was 18,500 while 45,000+ attended Lang Park the next month to watch the League Ashes. Still got a way to go before we match those dark days)

Not only that, but given how our lineout has gone this year, they are clearly wrong with their last line too.

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Didn't DHP get completely cut to pieces by the ABs when he played there a few years ago?

He had an awesome end of year tour last year too. Tui is in the same boat too I reckon, the players vote for effort and following the team plan at the individual expense
