    Reds 2019

Nice to have some options, this is a tough year, every potential Wobb needs to have some time on the bench. I would like to see Higginbum stop kicking, and stop trying the backhand offload. Neither ever works.

Agree about Beale, but I reckon Hunt is better than you say. Did you see Lukhan yesterday? I would have him at 6 ahead of Mr DLP.

    Reds 2019

The worst rugby? I thought it was pretty intense, obviously the Reds wore the opposition down. What is wrong with that in rugby terms?

Japan will do whatever the corporations that bankroll the sport decide, I assume.

    Round 5, Sunwolves v Reds, 16/3 @ Tokyo

It was a coaching masterstroke to play Stewart at 15 and Lucas at 10. Lukhan was immense. Great display by the Reds, away from home, under pressure, they got the result.

Objectivity should come into it, for sure. How far back is "the past"? Last season? The season before? How about we pick players on current form? Or potential? Or a mixture of both. Not on nostalgia.

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

What a depressing thought. Who could dream up that sort of dross?

I have, and what I have seen would not support his selection for Eastwood thirds, frankly.

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

Absolutely, especially if you watched the previous game between the Chiefs and the Hurricanes. A couple of observations. Firstly, I doubt that any of our players would make either the Chiefs or the Hurricanes squads, at least on their respective performances last night. Secondly, how is it...

I'll get over it in time. I was looking forward to him scoring a lot of meat pies.

    Reds 2019

The Reds have the nucleus of a very competitive team. Losing Petaia was a body blow, for sure. I agree that Hunt and Slipper had to go (as much for their own benefit as for the Reds), but not Cooper: at least not on the basis of what we know. Maybe something happened behind closed doors.

    Shute Shield 2019

No word on Hayne. Just paid my Woodies membership, so I hope I am being kept up to date on this latest outrage!!!

The thing about Cooper is that he is at his best when he improvises. No game plan. That is hard to defend against.
