    The Wallabies Thread

Look, he clearly wants to and it's been in discussions on both sides of the ditch, but I guess from my perspective it's a little bit odd when there's been nothing from Bath, the Reds or the ARU on the matter, particularly given Bath's season ended ~2 weeks ago and he's technically contracted for...

Thought they had to land in Australia and have already signed a 2 year contract with a Super Rugby side? Ah well

    Rebels 2016

Mumford looks like a dirty bastard who loves contact and hitting people. Billy Longer looks like he could be a good lock too IMO.

VRU Dewar Shield 2016 - and other comps

Is there a reason Uni is so crap this season?

    The Wallabies Thread

Harris played the opener, went off injured and came back game before last, and has played fullback in all 3. He's supposedly to play fly half this week with TT having lost patience with Jack D. I reckon he'd do well as the backup in the absence of To'omua, Beale and Gits, with Foley and Lilo...

    Rio Olympics

Pool A wll be an interesting one. Certainly Samoa will be favourites, but Zimbabwe were ever so close to qualification in the African tournament, and played well in both Hong Kong qualification and Cape Town. Tonga pulled the rabbit out of the hat and beat Samoa in the Oceania qualifier and...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Tuttle is the standout option. Nicufora or however you spell it was drawn into the squad, and Fowler was clearly the stronger performer in the New Zealand games, that first game was the worst passing performance from a halfback I've ever seen. Nonetheless he played very well tonight and...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Streams pretty good. Not sure what Fowler did wrong to get dragged, albeit with 2 halfbacks on the bench, it might have been premeditated. Obviously the commentators don't actually know much about the other U20s nations and are just repeating stereotypes, but otherwise the commentary and video...

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

Since ever my friend. Since ever. So fuckin proud, Scott Hastings little screams of jubilation as Dougie goes over, having said 90 seconds earlier it was nigh on impossible was beautiful. I understand why the GB training squad is the way that it is, but with Johnstone and Fleming's form, and...

17-0 win. Nice one. Poor Shug, he deserves to be playing in the Olympics, that bloody passport.

Rasihvenge bottled that call. Called roll white, then didn't give the penalty. Still, will take 5-0 up.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

The afternoon games really shouldn't be at the expense of of prime time games. A 7.30 game on the Eastern Seaboard is really important. Same for the Force games on a Friday night with no lead in game. That's a bloody stupid thing to do, particularly when they could play prime time Saturday.

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

Why would it burn me? He was the least involved player on the pitch on either side in that game. As for my opinion on him, I don't think he'll make it, no. I think he could, yes. But he's got a small time frame to both make massive physical and tactical changes to mind and body respectively...

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

Hayne's involvements have all been reasonably good (he had a pass and a 2 or 3 metre run in game 1, then 5 or 6 in the 2nd game), but he's quite clearly never played 7s before, and hasn't currently got the body shape/fitness type necessary for the Rugby. I think Ryans decision has been made for...

    HSBC 7's - Round 10 - London

England just deprived them of possession. 30, 40 seconds was all they needed to hit back. Hayne does the best part of sweet fanny adams in a 31-10 thumping loss to England.
