    HSBC 7's - Round 9 - Paris

Be afraid. Be very afraid of the Fiji Weegie. The biggest disappointment from an outside perspective is that Matawalu's injury will prevent him from appearing in the series, and hence the Olympics, due to Ryan's intentions. Supposedly like those 4 boys, he'd had it written in his deal too.

Let go of the past is fair enough. Doesn't mean throw out most recent possible form 8 months ago for Super form, particularly when the former is excellentand the latter is underperformance rather than actually playing badly. I mean, should Nonu have not been selected for the ABs between 2010...

VRU Dewar Shield 2016 - and other comps

Competition points are one thing, but the Points difference clearly points out the top 3 so far. :)

    Reds 2016

Tom Sexton did his ACL in January of 2014, and was fit enough to play just in time for all the NRC in that year. Given that it's basically May, and Backrows probably need more lateral movement to play than front rowers, you won't see him till preseason.

    Western Force - 2016

Why would you do that honestly? Not nots are down. Championship will be a higher standard than NRC yes, but it's a ridiculous step down from Super Rugby.

Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

    Woo. Metch.

Think Laurie played the 2nd and 3rd tests against France in 2014, before injuring himself upon return to the Rebels and missing a chunk of the NRC.

Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

Bastard. Hagan will probably get the start, but is it Metcher, Cocker or Moloney (with Cruze going to tighthead) who comes in.

Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

Anyone who willingly associates with Aukland doesn't have the right to piss on any other city in the world. Perhaps Dundee.

Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

6 Uncontracted Players were in the 24 man squad to play the Blues, 7 if you include Moloney. 3 Rising Boys (Sione Taufa, Pom Simona and Murray Douglas) and 3 U20s boys (Jordan Uelese, Ta Hosea and Angus Fowler), none of whom got selected in the Aus U20s squads. We also played with 2 of the...

Should play his last game for Glasgow in a win on the 28th of May. If he flew straight to Tokyo, he could play in the Tahs game v the Sunwolves on July 3rdish. He's been in OK form. One rip snorter, mostly good, a few poor. Recently, with all the Scottish Internationals back, he's been...

    The Wallabies Thread

An indication that he'd be in Wallabies contention more or less immediately, and the financial consequences of that would potentially be sufficient, particularly given the quality of current winger domestically (no insult intended, but it wouldn't be too hard to get into the greater squad ATM)

    Yarp. Through the Rebels.

    Force v Bulls

I'm not saying I rate Sexton, just that it's a little odd they'd pick a clubbie (regardless of how good he may be) over someone not only contracted, but having been in the professional (and Academy) system in both Ireland and Australia since leaving high school, particularly when we're talking...

    Force v Bulls

Is the Irish boy from the Rebels no with you lads? Scoble playing from a young local talent point of view I'd get, but who's Rangi?

Hope that Stirzaker gets first shot at the bench. Genia can play if you're 1-1 or 0-1.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

With Sione covering for a few injuries (Hawkins, Shipperley, Harris, English and Inman) at the Rebels, you'd assume he'd be one of those not playing the Baby Blecks.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

Admittedly there were a few crackers goin on back on Friday, what with Broncos hosting Souths, Hawks and Crows playing a thriller at the G, and the Reds v City semi in Adelaide, but those figures were a bit disappointing all round for the Rebels game.
