    Wallabies 2020

Well, like I said I am not pushing him to be the Wallaby 6 but I am very happy for him to play their for the Reds.

I agree with the notion that the best 15 don’t necessarily make the starting team when it requires a player to be shoehorned into a different position. But that is not what you proposed. You proposed Ala'alatoa should replace Tupou because Tupou was not at his best on the weekend and AAA is...

You may be proven to be right RR - it may all end badly, but I think you’re being unfair at this time. O’Connor is signed until the end of 2023. It is not in any way unusual that his extension contract hasn’t been sorted at this stage. Give the disruption if COVID I’d be surprised if it had...

Good read by Nick Bishop. This is the second time he has pushed for Liam Wright in the 6 jersey. I’m not convinced (at test level - I think he’s great there in super rugby) but it is a worthwhile read nonetheless...

So basically Deans was the Messiah but he just had too much against him and Rennie is a charlatan riding on the coat tails of others. Does that adequately present your position?

I just didn’t get the point. Start your best 15. Give them the most minutes. Even if two players are line ball the reality is they want to start and it makes guys off the bench fight for their spot. Tupou clearly had more in him in the weekend and we weakened when Ala'alatoa came on.

Maybe they already know where the super round will be :)

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

I don’t get this take. TT & Ala'alatoa played the same minutes. They had the same number of runs with Ala'alatoa getting 5 more metres. Tupou made 4 tackles/1 miss v Ala'alatoa 2 tackles no misses. Tupou’s tackles helped set the tone in the first half when we were noticeably better. The scrum was...

Imagine how good our scrum will be. Particularly if he masters the talent of creeping up and making a 4 person front row.

Isn’t there a very talented IGS (?) kid finishing this year that signed with the Reds during COVID? Edit: at 9 I mean

Absolutely. I have no idea of this guys ability, but looks just the right age group to come through as JOC (James O'Connor) finishes.

Can you do us all a favour and not watch the next Wallabies test. ;)

Interesting. I thought Tupou had a couple of okay hit ups. I knew none of them resulted in line breaks but I though he gained a few metres. Slacker.

I don’t recall too many tries being scored down his wing. Is my memory getting that bad as I age?

Well, they keep picking Simmons, the idiots. (Sorry BR - couldn’t help myself).

When you say ‘The Brumbies can keep Pasitoa’ and the one ‘we’ should be looking to bring back, you know you have a Brumbies icon in the top right corner, right?

Maybe contracts will be issued based on the order with which they get back to home base?

Camping trip? That sounds fun. I have these images of Brad Thorn saying to the boys ‘yeah boys, it’ll be fun. Make sure you bring the guitar’ and then taking them all on a 500 klm survival trek where the have to hunt their own food.
