2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

Given how Joubert had been very strict on the defending team in rucks all night, I certainly would not be blaming anyone from the wallabies camp for choosing to play for the penalty. If anything, they get a plus next to their name for thinking so logically after a tiring (and friggen HOT) game...

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

A LOT of heart in that wallabies side. I don't know whether it was good game to watch at home, but live it had a hell of a lot of intensity in the feeling in both the players and the crowd. (Kudos to the kiwis near me that sang both national anthems - that's pretty classy stuff tbh) Higgers...

Bryce Lawrence - JO'N forced my retirement

I am glad he is hanging up the boots - he was extremely poor as a referee. His quotes in the article read a little bit like that Goodall (sp?) umpire that got whacked by Croft - both similar individuals that were in positions well above their abilities.

All Blacks sponsored by the US taxpayer.

A massive profit margin on the sale of the jersey perhaps?

    Reds 2013

Yesterday, on the sevens, they said it was a medial ligament injury (I am not from the health profession - so I don't even know about that stuff apart from what I can research on wiki :P). In the replay it looked like a horrible injury. :( I imagine like most injuries it would take a fair...

A honest question from a Kiwi about Richie and Australia

I don't hate him. He strikes me as quite a decent bloke. He seemed to get away with things that others did not - which is reasonably frustrating. That is not strictly his fault (as you say, the referees are in control), but there you go. There are others around the world that get away with...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 6 Game 2 Argentina vs Australia - 6 Oct

What has been seen cannot be unseen. Terrible match. Truly diabolical. Both teams showed just how poorly rugby can be played. They should both be ashamed. The schoolboys match yesterday had higher skill levels (and don't give me any crap about injuries to the wallabies etc - the guys out...

Poor effort in the first half by the wallabies. Hope they lift for the second.

    I'm tipping that it won't be a draw. :P

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Power Politics along state lines where the ONLY suggestions of a power struggle are coming from south of the border. And from gossip columnists at that. Sheesh.

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

Ewan is the director of coaching, moving on to director of rugby. Roles which offer greater scope and greater opportunities for professional development and advancement, but still able to strongly influence the coaching of the team. That's sounds to me like the reds are doing all they can to...

    Nucifora - Next Wobs Coach?

What exactly is the benefit for the reds franchise losing their coach and/or their CEO? If they had any business sense at all, they would be doing everything in their power to keep as many of their quality coaching and management staff within the organisation as possible.

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

Not so far... Still looks off the pace and lacking confidence to me. He had a good settling kick for touch early on, but otherwise his passing in the first half has been poor - and lucky to not have given away an intercept try. Back line doesn't look like they have ever played together...

Quade telling it how it is

Conjecture. About as convincing as both Spiro's pathetic opinion piece and Marto's fantasists ramblings.
