    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

Given the ticket sales they should play all their games there. Or at least more than one a season.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Domestic games were up 9% last season according to this same article. The overall average was once again dragged down by games being played outside friendly timezones. The metro figures aren't great but hopefully they represent the low water mark for Super Rugby as opposed to the A-League which is having...

    Waratahs 2019

Or we could formalise an agreement with the ownership of Narbonne to essentially loan them talent doing as you suggest paying part of their salaries. Start by focusing on getting Narbonne into the Top 14 and then you could look to include higher profile players in the program. Could do something...

    Waratahs 2019

Could also place a condition on the agreements with foreign leagues that we have access to the player for the purpose of national selection during that period of time. Then rescind the Giteau Law and have only players who are contracted via the centralised system being eligible to be selected...

    Global Rapid Rugby

Honestly, I'm not fussed where in QLD any such team could be based. I was just thinking about population bases and the GC is Queensland's 2nd most populous. It's more that I think it would make sense for RA to basically say 'yep, you can have a team in NSW and QLD' to GRR assuming they can...

When did the Advocate cease being a satire site?

    Global Rapid Rugby

Sort of my thinking. Assuming Super Rugby survives and GRR successfully launches there is an opportunity to create a second competition that for all intensive purposes is our domestic championship. That's why I have suggested that giving GRR the go ahead for the WS team and the option of a GC or such...

If you have a laptop then get yourself an HDMI cable. That'll get the job done.

    Kayo ...................

Been using it since it launched in its beta. I've had no issues with it in terms of professional sports production. It's when I've tried to watch things like the Hockey Pro League that I've encountered streaming issues when live but I suspect that's thanks to the provider more so than anything.

I'd like a WS in 2020 and a GC team in 2021 if possible. I wouldn't mind seeing the Tahs play more games up Manly way (as apparently the opener is selling quite well) if that were to happen. I also think it would help grow the NRC. With the Tahs and Reds essentially becoming Sydney and Brisbane...

    HSBC Sevens 2018-19

I didn't get a chance to watch. Did we win?

    Shute Shield 2019

I wouldn't seeing the district clubs look to begin to build out there junior arms. Start with this U182 structure and then look to add and U16/17s down in time. Ideally with multiple teams in each age grade. Build complete clubs.

    Shute Shield 2019

At Wire Lane. I might make my way over for that.

    HSBC Sevens 2018-19

Mentioned in the broadcast earlier that tomorrow looks to be close to sold out.

    Proposed Nations Championship

If relegation isn't applied across the board then there's no point in any of it. I'd honestly prefer if the RC was either expanded to 5 or 6 (Japan and/or Fiji) and a 6 team 2nd div was formed involving the US, Canada, Tonga, Samoa and Uruguay with promotion/relegation in place.

    Western Force 2019

They would have had a reasonable idea of how things were tracking 4 weeks ago. They were probably hoping for things to work out but the timeline was probably very tight a fortnight back. They would have been better served to have made this announcement early in the month and then get on the...

    Western Force 2019

I just would have preferred to have had them come out and make this announcement a little earlier in the piece.
  19. WorkingClassRugger

    Proposed Nations Championship

My issue is that this doesn't accurately represent the current Top 12.

    Proposed Nations Championship

The Eagles are very likely going to be even better this season if the first round of MLR games are any indication. Significant jump in overall quality of the play. And considering that it's only week 1 of a 17 week season and the play improved markedly over the season last year things are...
