Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Nic White and To'omua's impact from the bench had something to do with it too. They were key players in that win, Foley and Phipps were very very poor despite the win. Can't exactly blame it on SBW.

Yes i know how it panned out. Sacrifice the Bled so you can possible win the RWC. Very Dean-esque if you ask me. I would have prefferred 2 wins in a row against the darkness - thought that alone would mentally be better preparation then sacrificing a win just to find out players like Palu...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Yes. Because it has been used to death now. I'm not advocating we drop it all together, we should just be more selective of when we use it. I thought that was a prime time to use it, as it was new, caught NZ off guard in game 1, and more importantly it was a bloody good chance to win the first...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

He does a lot of things that don't make sense. Remember only last year he benched our best player ,Pocock, and started Palu instead for the second NZ Test - despite winning the first test. I can see Cheika starting Timani at 6 infront of Mumm and Fardy given both have been average. Although...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

How was the front row during the world cup? Has it been a drop in work-rate this year or was it simply less noticeable during the RWC?

Would love to see Timani get a shot from the bench. I'm not a supporter of the Pooper, especially in the long-term but I think it will work well against the Argies - happy for it to continue with Timani coming from the bench. Can't see many changes to the starting line-up, would love to see...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

The Bok coach said in the post-match conference their strategy was to avoid kicking to Folau - and then went on to say they failed that because of decision making under pressure. So certainly wasn't planned to kick it to Folau to put him under pressure - they just stuffed up.

Never argued Cooper is in such scintillating form. My argument is Foley is in such bad form that he is a liability. Nothing to do with any other players. Whilst Godwin and Kerevi aren't the greatest options, I don't think they will provide negative impact which Foley seems to be doing. He...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I recall our backline line failing to fire in both Tests. Isn't he the primary playmaker? I recall him ignoring an overlap and running himself - a try went begging. His kicking struggled. But he ran himself pretty well. I guess that means he wasn't as bad as his NZ Tests.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I actually thought Moore was fine with the ref's last match, but it was the ref's form that was poor. Unfortunately I think it indicates too little too late, ref's clearly have a pre-determined agenda on Moore now, so even if he does the right thing it still won't be good enough. Not sure he...

Did you watch Foley the last 6 Tests?

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

It's also more the fact that Foley is probably in the worst form of his career, and on top of that he's now being played out of position. Plus the fact he's a poor defender and Godwin is a good one.

I agree on this, typical propaganda of something that isn't even real. Not many are fazed by the Fardy dropping (and I'm a brumbies fan), I'm just shocked at Foley remaining at 12 and DHP on the wing.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I'm actually more scared of scrapping through a miracle win (whilst the same players have poor games)- but we scrapped through a win through individual efforts of Folau and/or Cooper - then Cheika justifying his horrible selections and further sticking with them.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Cooper Foley DHP and Kerevi - none are great defenders (3 have little to no experience defending in the line; Foley / Cooper always drop back to fullback and DHP is a fullback)- and at least 3 will defend in the line at once - Boks backline is going to have a field day. When Kerevi is your...

So Fardy get's dropped for Mumm..okay that's fair given form....but then wtf is Foley doing there? Moore? I just hope Foley doesn't get into Coopers way. EDIT: Also DHP WTF!!! can't even tackle. Put Morahan in already.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

This is a great point and is exactly why I'm against the Pooper. Its the best it can currently be. It can't get any better. Hooper is never going to be great at the line-out, his height will always make him an okay option at best. His weight means he will never be that bullocking number 8...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Never said Pooper was the cause of the problem. So maybe try reading some of my other posts before jumping to conclusions. You said it right there, provided we sort out the line-out. You know what will help the line-out - even if it's only a slight improvement - dropping the Pooper. It's not...
